Mfw trying to play on the same server as friends is now “gaming the system”.
To Anet, just make a queue for transfers already. I’d rather be transfer number 1000 than this lack of progress.

I am now waiting since more than 8 weeks for EU German Server RS to open and know this pain.
Wirh a queueing system I would at least know if or when I would get a chance to get on the server
And for me regarding RS it is not even transferring to a T1 Server, RS is T3 and not linked.
At EU the closed Servers with no linking are Deso T2, Riverside T3, Kodash T4 and Elona T5 http://mos.millenium.org/eu
not 1 of this Servers are in T1 and the T1 servers can be go to via links … so in EU in can transfer easily to a link to T1 Server but have no chance to get on 4 of the 4 Servers mentioned above
I am feeling with you notkirves, as other ppl mentioned it might take months until a server is open again.
I wait since 2 months for a specific server EU Riverside to open that i can join my guild mates, pretty annoying … And no chance as my target server has no linked world an will not get one …
Did you check with the server of you friends have a linked server? If yes go to the linked server and play there for 2 months, if needed transfer after 2 months again…
If no linking then i can just give you some hugs …
If you arrive on Piken, just ask to get an invitation to Stomp for Piken [PS], its the community guild on piken and a good starting point. Most of the people in PS are not representing, because they are on their main guild, but you have always also people representing PS.
PS gave me a great welcom on Piken and you have as soon as you land in piken some people around, who are really nice and friendly and are willing to answer all your questions and helping out, giving information on attacks on the different borderlands etc. PS is also doing guild misisons every sunday evening
