ditto – 2.5 hours and no reward due to disconnect :(
At the very least they should be able to track event participation per account and reward players through the mail retrospectively…

same here – dc’ed before final part, logged back to an overflow server and the event was apparently over – 2.5 hours of participation = no reward in the end due to systems issues. Not happy at the mo.

dito – not happy – there must be some way for Anet to track event participation and reward players accordingly through the mail.

I took the day off from work to participate in this one time event. I din’t mind the lag, and didn’t mind the glitches which led to being placed in 3 different overflow servers – because generally it was fun.

What I do mind, is that I spent 2.5 hours and no reward in the end because I was booted out and had to re-log. When I logged back in the final time I was in an overflow server and the event was already over.

I know I’m not the only one who has experience this today. Surely there must be some way for Anet to identify event participation and send rewards to players accordingly. If not I will have to re-think my participation in such events in future.
