Arenanet has the knowledge of solving this unless they messed completely, just look at gw1 there it was possible to play with friends from all over the planet without any limitations. So why go from that to this …? they say gw2 where going to be a social game but as I see it gw2 just split up everyone who became friends in gw1 saying that we can’t play together any more …
so basically I still can’t play with all my friends, all my friends who are on a different server are on a server on the other region but I don’t want to change region cause then I’ll loose the ability to play with my friend on the server I’m on now …
this type of limited guesting isn’t worth one bit, at least not for me …
why not make a copy of the characters you play when guesting over to the other region and synchronize it when ending the guest playing for that time?
I love the current set with longbow and greatsword, I have those 2 that I swap between all the time.
What I am troubled with though is the current situation with the pet which makes me feel like I don’t want to have a pet at all. Not going to go in on that here as I’ve already been engaged in a discussion about this in another thread.

I agree with these problem and I also think that this not being able to revive your pet thing is crap. I have one pet that I like more than the others and I don’t want to have to swap it out just to have a pet that is alive. It dies to fast even with boosting skills, it runs ahead and agroes or agroes things while running from one point to the other. At this point I acctually wish I could just skipp having a pet cause it’s more trouble than it add things.
In my opinion they should make changes to the pets like these:
pets ignore enemies while running from point A to point B that is longer than a certain distance.
Only attack when it is being attacked unless the player has started to attack an enemy.
If the pet dies the player should be able to choose between reviving the pet or swapping it, not being forced to swap or have to wait until all enemies around are dead. Than also reviving pet should have a secondary priority to reviving other players so if both pet and a player is dead at one place the first target should be the player unless the owner of the pet contiously selects the pet.
When no enemies are nearby they should stay close to the player as they are a companion not a wild thing that is afraid of you.
This is offcourse just my opinion and others should give their opinion too.
