The first EQ did that and it was pretty cool. Hearing the fight and waiting for it to wear off and reorient yourself. I don’t see any modern MMO going that hard core though.

Don’t cave in. Don’t give in. You guys made a game, and you guys made a game that you could be passionate about. That you had all these ideas for that took years to get working.

So make your game. Make it the way you want to make it. (Or… continue… to make it? Whatever works.) Because this is your game, your baby.

People that don’t ‘get’ the game? They don’t get it. And they probably won’t continue to play. People that want to massively change the game’s systems or how certain things work probably fall under this category.

But at the same time, don’t forget about us, the little people who bought your game. Because some of us do have pretty good ideas.

Even so, this is your game. You honestly don’t have to listen to any of us. And I hope that when you -do- listen to us, it’s because you want to, not because you feel forced to.

Worst advice ever. Go over to the Diablo 3 forums and see what not listening to their customers did to their reputation. Or you could look at the dozens of failed MMO’s out there. I saw posts like yours on every one of their forums.

Crafting mat drop rates in this game are really bad, easily the worst most annoying system I’ve ever seen in an MMO. I’ve been trying since I got GW2 to keep my armorsmith and weaponsmith up to where my character could actually make something useful to me. I’d venture to say it’s impossible. Instead of progressing in zones designed for my level I find myself traveling around all the newbi zones just to get through the first tier. My mains up to 34 and both of my crafting skills are only in the mid 60’s at this point. I probably gained about 8 levels downleveled and farming in the newbie zones just trying to get mats.

This anti farming code makes no sense. It actually has the opposite effect as far as I can tell. You have to farm way more mobs and spend many more hours then if the drop rates were more consistent.

IMO, nobody should be able to pick up my banner but me. Every time I place a banner it seems someone picks it up.

Thanks that’s awesome. Every MMO I’m always torn between the local guild of my co-workers and family and a big active guild. That is a really innovative feature.

Can I be in more then one guild? That’s my best guess, if not what is the purpose of this button?

So does anyone know what’s up with this?

A friend and I joined our friends guild tonight. I can see the main guild page and it shows me as a member, but can not open the roster, upgrades, history or ranks tabs. Additionally when we try to chat in guild chat we get the message “You are not in a guild”. Is this a bug or did we do something wrong?
