Oh well. I also just realized that my Charr couldn’t use it anyway, since it’s medium armor.

I’ve been at this for 12 hours. I’m so serious. Charr jump weird, so I decided to go with a human after doing this for 11 hours. It was much easier.

I have the slippers, finally. Do you think it’s possible to request the slippers to be sent to my main? I’ve been at it for SO LONG that I really don’t want to do this again on an alt. I’d just rather give my main the slippers, and finally run around in the fields of Tyria, as a free man.

YES. 12 HOURS. BUT I DID IT. I FINALLY DID IT. I’M FREE.

I just did the dungeon for the first time, with a PuG that was a little bit scatterbrained. We still downed him with no trouble at all, and I’m only level 49.

I got an exotic recipe out of it, too.

Wait seriously? Do you have a link to the meta-event? Like a guide or something? Because I’m not sure what you’re talking about.

I’m sure this has been posted a lot, but has there been any word about them fixing this soon? I can’t find any doors leading to the realm anymore. I left it yesterday because I need a break from the place (many hours in the clock tower), and when I came back to gendarran fields all the doors were gone, as well as everywhere else they’re supposed to spawn.

I don’t know when the event is ending. If they don’t fix it today, will I ever have a chance to go back to it or what?

Thanks for the answers, guys. I’m going to focus on gathering, map completion and crafting whenever I have money again. I blew all my money yesterday leveling cooking, which bumped me up 3 levels. If I had more, I would’ve crafted my way to 80, but unfortunately I don’t lol.

If you have the money, crafting is the fastest method. There’s a video on Youtube of someone getting from 1-80 within 4 hours just from crafting.

I’m not trying to anger anyone with this question. I know GW2 isn’t a race to max level, but I’ve been so busy with general life stuff that I am falling behind when it comes to leveling. Almost my entire guild is level 80, and we always RP together whenever we’re on. I want to reach level 80 so that I can start having more fun with RP and concentrate on stuff other than what level I am.

I’ve been playing since the three day headstart (along with BWE), and I’m still only level 36. Leveling also progresses my RP character’s story, so hey, that’d be pretty nice too.

So, any tips? I get lost very easily while frantically searching for “hearts” and events, so while I don’t mind grinding, I mind it a lot when I’m spending twenty minutes just searching for something to do. I’m a scatterbrain like that.
