How about you make high lvl (75+ so “casuals” don’t complain much) fractals actually challenging where the braindead stacking MAX dps with utilities CAN’T survive it?
Scale 94. Cliffside.
We got a reflect?
Sorry, fixed it. Thanks
Whatever it is, I’d like to see it be something we have little to none of right now, such as burn or aegis.
You’re about as likely to see us get stealth as either of those suggestions. Which is to say it won’t happen.
Anet gave rangers a healing elite spec, guardians a bow elite spec, necros a projectile negation on their poison cloud skill and added a foreign skill type to over half of the classes (Wells, Glyphs, Shouts etc.). At this point, I’d say anything is a possible implementation. Look at Dhuumfire lol. Who would have thought our class would someday be able to apply and sustain the burn condition like that.
In regard to the wells. We’re talking about elite skills here. A burn or aegis elite well is fine when you consider the other elite necro skills it would be up against.

Offensively, I’d like to see a burn stack every pulse.
Defensively, I’d like to see aegis applied every pulse.
Passively, I’d like to see an elite signet for necromancers :P
Haha, yeah I actually posted on that thread you linked several days prior to making this thread, but thanks for the reference regardless. I would have tried your PvP locker idea, except for the fact that there is no longer anything Tribal listed for armor in there so I really have nothing to go on. In regard to armor, the name Tribal seems to be completely absent from the game since the official launch. The only thing I am seeing that is Tribal now are the weapons.

I remember seeing this armor in the PvP locker labeled as PvP Tribal back in BWE, but now it seems to be listed under PvP Masquerade. I am deeply confused as to why it was changed, as the PvE Masquerade looks nothing like this at all. Is the Tribal Armor name ever going to show up again in PvP/PvE? Will we ever see this armor graphic in PvE?
It’s the first pic of the two shown

Glad to have found this thread. I’ve been looking for this armor for a good week. I checked “The Big Where Does This Armor Come From Thread” thread on gw2guru and everyone is starting to think that the gear is all from an undiscovered mystic forge recipe. Triple kudos to whoever figures this mess out.
Had this issue spring up twice. Just as you guys have stated; it’s always during a really epic event. First event was when we bust open a gate in WvW with hundreds of people involved. The second event was during a fight with the Claw of Jormag. I thought it was my sound card, but alt tabbed out to find everything working just fine. Alt tabbed back in, same annoying sound. Relogging seemed to fix it.
My Vampiromancer feels viable in sPvP. Let me know what you think.

Seezer,
I will honestly say that it is a relief to finally see someone who has driven their build toward the exact same style as we have. A few friends and I took a very similar variant of your build and tested it in BWE 3 and most of our first launch days in sPvP before we decided to experiment with other potentially equivalent build styles. We started acknowledging that kind of build as an “Attrition” build, which had been discussed thoroughly in different GW2Guru.com threads prior to all of our testing. The only difference I see from yours and ours was that we tried to make a good niche for the retaliation boon, since you become pumped with all that power via might etc. So instead of the signet traits you chose in spite, we swapped that out Spiteful Spirit.
A consistency with Death Shrouding every 10 seconds to keep the vuln high on the target and the might high on you, combined with Spiteful Spirit and Unholy Feast, combined with several lifestealing factors, combined with all of that power to make you and retaliation hit just as hard right back, makes for one amazing build.
