Adding my voice in here to hopefully show Anet how bad a decision this is. The move to Saturday made sense. It could change the mind set / weekly structure of WvW, at least at the higher tier levels where full week WvW is a regular thing. Moving it to Saturday afternoon essentially makes what were NA server now EU servers. Except, that in doing this, you will have enough NA people who want to reset logging in then, and so bumping the EU people out of their own time / play slot. Maybe I am missing something, but even if more people log into the game on Saturday, those people are not logging into WvW. You never see a queued map at lunch time on Saturday, it just isn’t the time people play that game mode.
Please, do not be so proud that you will not just admit you messed up and go back to Saturday evening reset. Heck, if you want to, make it 5 or 6 est, giving a little more time for reset, but not the middle of the day.
Or consider doing reset on Wednesday or Thursday, meaning that the three days of the weekend will be action packed with people trying to actually win. Instead of Monday morning coming around and everything being settled.
