As a returning player, it is a little disappointing to me too since it seems to be exactly the same as it was the first year. But I’m pretty sure they didn’t have time to add anything new because they were busy with the new xpac.
How much power would be roughly equivalent to +5% damage? If it’s not that simple to answer, then it would help if someone explained how power and +5% damage works.
The home page website doesn’t work for me. The page dims and I can’t click on anything in the home page unless I click before the page fully loads. I think the game of the year ad is the problem because I can click until the ad shows up. I use Chrome. Internet Explorer seems to be fine.
I should have said this before but I’m looking to do WvW. Up til now, I’ve been using greatsword and sword+axe for leveling. But I haven’t done much WvW yet so I don’t know if that’s good for WvW. From what I’ve read, greatsword and sword seem to be popular. I’m going for more of a damage-dealing warrior. Thanks for the tips.
I just hit level eighty and I’m looking at exotics. I’m trying to figure out how to balance my stats. Also, should I get a weapon with an unused slot or with an already existing effect?
How? I wanna turn into a plush griffon. But no transformation tonics from gift boxes (normal loot kind), unlike Halloween.

Try playing late at night. I started playing in an overflow. I stayed while everyone else left and had the whole thing to myself. The other nice thing is that the wait times are shorter.

I found the answer in another thread.

My guess is that you might miss the the quest where you collect the Mad Memoires because the quest has a bar that very slowly fills up. Looks like a countdown for when the quest ends. I forget what the quest is called. If you use a guide like this, http://www.guildwarsinsider.com/gw2-halloween-the-great-scavenger-hunt/ , it takes very little time.
Trading Post takes an additional 10% when item sells. It hasn’t been up for too long so it hasn’t affected me too much. But this is something I don’t think a lot of people know considering the amount of people that sell for 1 copper more than the merchant sell price.
