((The Santa Charr thread merged? Oh well… posting in here anyway because I am all for making Santa Charr part of personal lore…))
Dear Santa Charr,
First, it may be presumptuous, but I believe you are the one to thank for the Vincent dye I received last Wintersday. It is tricky between Tixx, my warband, and yourself, however, it was only in my letter to you that I mentioned accidentally breaking the vial I bought that summer. It seems a reasonable hunch that it was your paws behind the gift. If so, thank you.
Second, I would like to apologize for the overabundance of questions in my letter last year. I discovered, AFTER sending my bird, that Mala had been planting false information and having a personal joke at my expense. I can understand why my letter went unanswered, as you have greater concerns than correcting all the confusion of a misunderstanding. I am sure you had the insight to know I would realize my mistake.
Moving on to the annual performance review, Legionnaire Truthprowl assured me a generalized account of the year would be preferable to a detailed and documented dossier. On that note, let me also apologize for any unnecessary bulk I added to your paperwork with my, admittedly, lengthy reports of the past. Particularly, the substantial account in 1327. I know I said as much last year, but you have been most understanding in overlooking what was a particularly low year. I fully expected I would receive nothing but loose ore after that year. Well, you are well aware of the situation, so let me again just say that I will do everything I am able to continue to be worthy of Winterday merits.
Returning to the pertinent information, in as much as I can objectively review myself, I believe I have performed capably this year.
I have and continue to perform with excelling standards in training and in the seasonal physical fitness tests. I work diligently to be an asset to my warband and uphold the ethos that Legionnaire Truthprowl expects in a Truth soldier. My elementalist abilities are continuing to improve with my current dedication and specialized focus on specific spells that go toward enhancing our Warband’s operations.
Static remains a hazard, though this year has been most fortunate in the low number of affronted or unpleasant encounters. I am also pleased to report a record low in the annual tally of electro-mechanical related problems for which I bear some responsibility/may have unintentionally been the catalyst. In the interest of being brief, I have and continue to discipline my air attunement and rectify any poor situations that arise.
In a short, but conscientious review: I have faults, but not the sort that should give you reason to doubt my standing as a good soldier. My honor as a scout of the Truth Warband demands nothing less than an truthful and forthright assessment.
If you could, I would like to ask a favor of you this year: to give Erevu Truthecho some extra peppermint omnomberry bars to find in his barrack’s locker. Honestly, any sweet will do, but he is quite fond of those at this time of year. I believe it would be a well deserved reward for his excellent service this year.
As you do each year, may you tread lightly this Wintersday in the knowledge that your spirit of goodwill and karma is appreciated.
Walk softly,
Naevia Truthspark

Charr just always land on their feet apparently.
Also, I couldn’t help getting a chuckle from the late Sorin The Always Lost being a Scout.
I suppose the title could have been added to his name after the job interview.
First, just a HUGE thanks to the system in place that allows players to be in more than 1 guild.
I don’t know if this has already been mentioned in these forums, but I know at least a few others in the GW RP community who have many characters and are involved with many groups who each have their own guilds. For those of us who have more than 5 characters (and even some with less who just have wide groups of friends), we would love to have the option to be in more guilds.
I know I’m not alone in that I would love to see a guild slot available for each character (raising the cap from 5 for people with 6+ characters) and/or additional slots available for purchase on the TP.
OH GOD, Logan!?
What? You don’t like?
To be fair, I did have a poll on GW2RP for Logan’s costume and Gwen won, though I admit I was really leaning towards Gwen in the first place. Muahahahaha!
Thanks. I am glad it brought out a grin
Thank you very much!
The finished piece combining GW1 and GW2!

Logan’s costume was chosen by a vote. Hee hee.
I think it is pretty easy to guess who everyone is, but you tell me

Just tried the dungeon with a group not knowing of the bug.
The end group with Jennah is not properly spawning. Only 1 fighter (not 2) and the Sgt. with the Boss. Cannot complete the event and thus, the dungeon.

We Are The Lanterns
The Lanterns shine brightly in these dark times.
We are a young guild of members with a love of lore and story. Our goal is a community of Tyrian heroes who help make each other’s stories come to life. We are a guild with the goal of providing a friendly, role-playing community of Guild Wars 2 members.
Who Are The Lanterns?
We are the friends you call upon your time of need.
The family who shares your joys and sorrows.
A community who has your back in a fight.
We are, above all, a Chivalric Order in Tyria.
The Lanterns foundation was perhaps not the most auspicious beginnings.
A small group of adventurers who met in a tavern at Lion’s Arch. Brought together by the vision of a young human mesmer named Magnus Lores, the group battled enemies and served those in need. Since then, we have formed an alliance, a family, with a network of members across Tyria that can count on each other in times of need.
Our creed is to be a shinning light in these dark times for Tyria. We help those in trouble with generosity, we fight the foes of this world with courage, and search for wisdom to bring hope to our world. We accept all races and classes and we foster cooperation among the orders. Above all, we fight the dragons and their corruption.
Members and Joining
We are looking for members who are active, fun, and have a love for roleplaying.
We do not require any hardcore players.
We do have a minimum age of 18 for our members. We may make an exception for mature family or friends.

The Lanterns appreciate members who have fun helping and questing with other players. Our guild aims to share a love of roleplay and the world of Guild Wars. We will not limit our members by saying you must be a certain class or race. Nor must you choose a certain order or base of operations as a whole. We are happy to recruit new members, please contact one of our Leaders or fill out an application to join.
While we are mainly a PvE based guild, though we will participate in PvP. As we grow and gain new members, we will sponsor events, quests, contests, and more. Such events will mainly be RP focused, gathering our group/guild for a story or hangout. Our forums may include screenshot, artistic, or written GW2 based contests. We would like active involvement of our members to make our guild a strong team of friends.
Casual Game Play and Roleplaying
In depth roleplaying and gaming without a tight schedule.
Our guild has active roleplay in game as well as a rich roleplay environment on our forums. We realize that life comes first, but we do encourage our members to be active at least once a week. We expect our members to follow our basic rules and treat others with respect. Come join our forums, post your character, make your character come to life. Join us in game for help with a dungeon in character.
For those who respectfully wish to join,
