Hi, I’ve just hit level 80 and now I have no idea what to do.

Through leveling I’ve mainly been LB/SB and on the last 10 or so levels, LB/GS with a 30/30/0/0/10 build.

LB is my favourite weapon and I’d like to ‘main’ it, so I’m wondering what stats/gear I should be trying to get and what other weapon would you recommend alongside a LB.

As I’ve just hit 80, I imagine I’ll be doing quite a lot of PvE to gain the gear but I’ve a keen interest in WvW too. Hopefully the community can help me out.

I prefer single target DPS, I’m currently going with a Longbow/Shortbow but would switch out the shortbow for a more single target weapon. So the stats I’ll be after are Power/Precision/Crit Damage.

Can anyone suggest any item sets? I did check the Lion’s Arch vendors and noticed three sets have these stats (Shame the Sylvari sets didn’t have these stat combos) but are there anymore?

So would you say Karma exotics are more for the looks?

I also forgot about gear from actual dungeons.. can you aquire gear quite quickly through running dungeons?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but being a Ranger I thought it’d be suiting.

I’m not level 80 yet but I’ve been thinking recently on how gearing up will be once I reach the cap. From my understanding, exotic gear that is level 80, is what I will be aiming to get. My crafting isn’t anywhere near my level right now (I’m level 64 but just touching tier 3 on both crafts.) and I doubt it’ll be near cap when I reach 80, so i’m assuming I’ll be aquiring the exotic gear through gold and karma vendors.

What I’m mostly confused about is what currency to spend on actual stat gear and what currency to spend on gear I like the look of.

If someone could explain to me clearly how this all works it’d be much appreciated, as i’ve come across several vendors with some wanting gold, karma and what appears to be dungeon tokens, in exchange for exotic gear.
