There is in most cases a free transfer given to account but this only lasts for thirty days after account is created I apologize if you saw a tooltip in error but we cannot provide a refund of gems in these circumstances.

We’re glad to hear that you were finally able to enter Jade Quarry to play with your friend. Unfortunately, we’re currently not offering a free transfer and for the same reason, it’s no possible for us to refund the gems that were used to transfer servers.

are there a free server transfer few days ago? and im very sure i saw the tool tip for free transfer when point to world selection.

I’m a returning player, I bought gw2 last time.
When I pointing to click world transfer at first, it write something like “you can transfer free once”
I tried many times transfer but it always full, so while playing and I spent 4 days tried to transfer to a friend server (Jade Quarry) and today I finally had chance to.. but it ask me to pay 1800gem to transfer.

I thought it was free? but now when I try to point to world selection bar at character screen, the word gone. I even pay for the transfer(1800gem) because it a rare opportunity I finally can play WvW with my friend.

I hope at least I can have my gem or refund back?
