So I have come back to Guild Wars and in the Norn starting area I have encountered now two skill point challenges I am not able to trigger/complete. The first one is Issomir’s Body where you commune with the corpse after you kill it. I am able to click the circle (or hit F) however I am not able to actually commune with it and get the point. After watching a level 2 and 3 come in and achieve this (My character is 5 at the time of this posting) I am confused as to why I am not able to trigger these challenges. My only option when I commune is “I’ll come back later”.
The second one is after the Bear line where you swim under the cavern and find the Bear Shaman Marga. Again I am not offered the option that would trigger the challenge only given the exit option. Fortunately on this one I am able to wait for someone who can interact with the NPC to start the challenge and join in (again a level 3 started the challenge while I sat there endlessly clicking and hitting F to try to get another option to activate it).
This is becoming increasingly frustrating that as I am going through the starter area I am not able to complete parts that will impact my development later (skill points). I would really like this fixed and figure out why my character cannot initiate/activate challenges… I thought it was level-related but after seeing lower level players accomplish what I had been waiting for, I can only deduct that is not a factor.
Also, I have tried this with two different Norn characters at least with Issomir’s and neither can commune. Thanks
