Hey everyone, for those who are still working on the various tiers of Queen’s Gauntlet and the associated achievements, I wrote up some guides on the various fights and achievements you may find it helpful.
The guide will mostly convery general mechanics/tips but I also have video for various hard fights/achievements from a mesmer perspective (mostly). If there is enough interest, I can upload some videos of these fights/achievements on my warrior.
Guide: http://dulfy.net/2013/08/06/gw2-queens-gauntlet-guide/
If you are just interested in the achievements: http://dulfy.net/2013/08/06/gw2-the-queens-gauntlet-achievement-guide/
and here is a Youtube playlist of all the videos: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ2ntiwVMOhKnJNm-tCD_SweWmwlQD9Ow
The only one achievement I havn’t quite gotten down yet is the 8 orbs one for Lidari, which I am still working on
Enjoy!
Some other servers have a bit more respect in the JP, most at least wait till we get the chest then we fight since we all want the loot. Not that it mattered to CD or MAG. so what if CPR does not WvW much it is what it is.
Had fun camping the EBJP yesterday. Looks like CPR can pull 10+ but for some reason I don’t think they WvW much……
To whoever was on the spike trap in the first fight, thank you! We got 14 of em with just 2 of us holding them in there.
Hello. I have a very simple suggestion that could considerably reduce number of players camping chokepoints at Obsidian Sanctum. Timelimit.
I think that 20-30 minuts is more than enough to complete this jumping puzzle even for new players. Put a condition on everyone who enters to display how much time they have left. If player exceeds this time limit, he gets kicked out and denied to enter Obsidian Sanctum for 30 minutes (Players who leave willingly should be “banned” too, to prevent re-entry at 29 minutes mark).
I believe that this rule would discourage a lot of mean players from ruining others experience. Excessive camping should be penalized, as it serves no purpose.
