No server loyalty? Well i’m still playing on vabbi knowing we have no chance to cover anything. Some things are greater than mere loot. If you find those people losing doesn’t seem that bad anymore …

So here is my 2 week old story. I missed lauch by about 11 months. Bought this game but never played it. Till recently a friend told me to get my kitten on this game. He chose the least populated server without thinking about my needs (i’m pretty hardcore about pvp). I first grinded my way to 80 and then i got into wvw since that was the reason why i bought this game in the first place.

Jumping into wvw i saw 1 commander with 6 soldiers. There were more but i label them not as soldiers since they didnt do what the commander asked of them. I was still a total noob with all the wvw stuff and so i got crushed by everything. Like all dedicated pvp oriented person i was using all my down time to search to optimize my builds.

Now I’m trying to look more for animations and try to anticipate the enemy’s moves. I’ve realized that capping points is just lost time so all we do is cap one thing and lure the enemy to us and try to farm the enemy. That is our only option. We lack the manpower to have a decent 20-25 man party.
My encounters with FoW were quite intresting. The main zergs are pretty brainless and can be stomped with a small party. Sometimes i come across a real good roamer that just pounds me while all i can do is try to learn from it and not to use block when the other persone just finished his combo. And the other server…. Well let’s just say i don’t see them often. Somehow i get the feeling they don’t really care about vabbi being undermanned they just cap us while we try to fend off FoW. They seem to be the oppotunists of our tier but that is just my assesment from this time period. I have no knowledge about the past troubles so don’t rage on me for your hardships that i don’t know of.

The main point here is we lack players. and as for strategy’s well we can might stack and gate hop. Other than that we rarely can get AC in a tower or keep. Really hard to win as a group of 5-10 man vs a zerg. But keep the spirits high and fight to the death. Atleast our mentality is right Since we have so few but dedicated players we never run. Unless we face a FoW guild zerg thats just suicide.
