Hello all, I grew up playing GW1 and fell in love with the game and community. I just reached level 80 as a Mesmer and although I’m still having a lot of fun – I feel like I’m playing solo. If anyone would like someone to group up to have fun with anything, please feel free to add me (Zerohour.3948).
I’m currently working on full exotics and then plan on doing anything as long as it’s with a group of people :P. Thanks guys and see you in game!
Hello fellow Mesmers, I’m currently grinding my way to 80 in WvW and I’m having a very difficult time tagging enemies in zerg battles. I often times just roam solo or with some other person to take dolyaks/guards because I feel like I’m just wasting my time in large scale fights.
I’ve tried staff and the #5 has kind of remedied this for me, but I was curious to see if any of you guys/gals are having any luck with some sort of aoe build. This is my first character and I’d love to reach 80. Help me out! :p
Happy Holidays to you guys as well. I forgot to mention that I never got involved with GW1 with Prophecies, I started in Factions and played it onwards. I completely understand that people have different opinions and one’s opinion certainly doesn’t matter more than another, but I’m just stating mine as a casual player.
I guess it just bothers me that I can’t customize weapon skills to my liking. I shouldn’t be cornered and told what I have to use if I pick this weapon, that’s no fun in my honest opinion.
And I feel that the downed state is something that should be removed entirely in PvP. If I win a lengthy battle one on one and down my opponent, he should not be given a second chance (his teammates may come by and all my work was for nothing).

I’ve never made forum posts, but I’d like to voice an opinion. I grew up on GW1 with a close group of friends and I can honestly say it was an absolute blast. We had all planned to play GW2 when it was to come out and when it did, we jumped on board. We were in awe at how beautiful the game looked, but it felt like something was missing..,
It took us a while to figure out what it was, but we did. There’s 1/10th of the customization in this game compared to the prior. Why is it that at level 10, I pretty much have all my weapon skills and can’t mix/match? It just feels so bland to me.
Another big one for us is that the game is called GUILD Wars. You’d think that there’d you know, be a huge guild element (guild hall?). None of that is present. I quit months ago and just wanted to voice my opinion. Thank you all.
