Guild Wars 2

Hiya everyone! This is my first time every posting in any forum so I am a tad nervous ha. Please let me know if I forget any pertinent information! Yes, I’m gonna copy this format from the sticky post just cause I think it’ll help heh

Active Time: At the later time of the day cause of work like 7pm~ depending
Voice preference: I do have a discord and do not mind using voice chats!
Social preference: I like smaller, more close-knitted groups but honestly a community in general would be pretty cool!

So hi! The name’s Logan(in game I play rn as a Necro/Reaper female sylvari named Xayah tho im a boy irl but I love female character model armor). So here’s the thing, I played the original GW1 back in the day and loved it, but at the time I was not comfortable with talking to other players or getting involved into the community, mainly cause I never had any friends who played GW1 (or any games really) and was scared to attempt to make online friends. Then GW2 was announced and at the time I was in High School and myself and some friends were really getting hyped about it. Sadly, after it came out and we all tried to play, Senior year happened and honestly I just fell out of the game. I’ve never reached end-game content of this MMO, or any other MMO just cause of boredom or not fully into it, until recently. I had bought HoT when it came out, and again fell out of it.

This all sorta changed when me and my boyfriend had started playing together more and more and I FINALLY reached level 80 and reached my Elite spec(now he’s obsessed with getting Eternity so goodbye I guess lol :p). I’ve had to adapt to a lot of new mechanics(currently trying to get spare money to get the LWS2 episodes I don’t have which is sorta annoying). I’ve only started becoming interested in WvW, I’ve done my first dungeon(at level 80, is that sad?), but I have not touched raids, fractals, or pvp(but would like to experience them!)

So why am I here? I really want to look for a guild. I want to be an active member of the community in a way I’ve been scared to do in the past. With me being a gay man, going to school, and just not being very knowledgeable about the game and it’s lore minus core tid-bits here and there, I felt that I wasn’t ready. I would like to be able to find one that my boyfriend could join but sadly he is on Fort Aspenwood, not Gate of Madness. But who knowsss. Anyway, I hope this post has made any sense and I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read it!
