I’m well aware there’s already an achievement for this in the Community tab called “Teamwork Gets It Done” and that ArenaNet has said when they added this daily achievement back then, a number of people were confused on how to do it.
However, now that we have the daily achievement revamp, I don’t see why this shouldn’t be re-added. It’s not a particularly difficult game mechanic to execute or understand, especially now that we have a daily achievement for interrupting (which can be tricky for new players, including on understanding how Defiant status works).
More choices for the daily achievement system isn’t a bad thing currently, so why not? Make it similar to “Condition Applier” daily achievement, where you have apply a combo finisher on a target or on yourself/allies, for a set quota. Then have another daily achievement for putting down a combo field that you or allies successfully performed a combo finisher off of (again, when applied to target or self/allies).
I would like to see this implemented, ArenaNet, as there are still a number of people who aren’t well-versed in your combo system and this could help them get better at it (and in turn, indirectly help everybody else in general). I feel the game mechanic would be wasted, considering how much pre-release information about it was put out with the developer’s enthusiasm about it.
I’d like a better notification system in general, so I approve of this.
This game’s guild system is too underwhelming. As a sequel, it needs to do better than this if its guild system plans to compete with some of the other MMORPGs with better ones.
I wouldn’t risk it in the first place, as I have no idea about their file check system.
As much as I’d like to have it, it’s not much of a loss if I don’t, so I didn’t mind wanting to post this question instead of breaking the ToS anyway. It’s not like I’d think it’s worth the effort to do it against the ToS if they said no.
It’s why I ask if it could be released to the public instead.
I’m only asking this because I want to extract a sound file that asuran golems play when they’re “booting up”.
The one that goes “Good morning, bonjour, good morning”.
The reason why is because I want to use that as my Windows start-up sound.
If we’re not allowed, is there any way for the devs to release that sound file online for the public?
