Guild TS3 || Mail for more info!

Recently, I have been really unsure what would be considered ‘exploiting’ with relation to the mystic forge. I want to get the ‘Rage’ weapons used to craft legendaries. However, to get these I believe I have to use the mystic forge.
Now, that means that I have to put 4 of the items of my choice in the forge, and try to get a useful exotic out of it.
I have two options to get these items: crafting, or buying from a karma vendor. Now my question, Is this whole process allowed – or is this considered an exploit? Especially the part when I consider using weapons bought from karma.
I could not find any information about what is exactly considered an exploit, and did not want to get banned for the use of an exploit I did not know of.

I believe most people know what karma training is.
You basically rush past every supply camp/sentry to take it over with a big group, while another group of an enemy does the same thing.
I however, am unsure if this is an exploit or not, I could not find some concrete evidence that it is or is not.
Therefor this post, to make it clear to me.
Is ‘karma training’ an exploit to the game or not?
