Thank you, I sent a request.

I got a Gem Card from Game Stop last month for $15 worth 1,200 gems and I went to redeem the gems today online and I was not able to redeem them. After going into the Black Lion Trading Company and clicking on the “Redeem Code” button on the top left of the window, I scratched off the part with the code on the back of the card and entered it but it did not allow me to click the “Redeem” button.

Something I noticed was when I typed in the 10 digits on the back of the card the “Redeem” button stayed grayed out, however, when I typed an additional digit into the box, the “Redeem” button lit up.

I believe I was given a misprinted card and feel this is unwarranted. I tried to find a customer service number to call but there isn’t one to be found anywhere.

I hope someone can assist me with this issue, preferably either gems being sent to me in game or my $15 returned to me.

Hello all! Maybe you can help me with this.

I have not played GW2 for a few weeks now. Maybe a month? I have not kept up with the updates unfortunately. I started the game up, and left it to download the updates. About 5 minutes later, I come back and the message “Connection error(s) detected. Retrying…” comes up. What is the best way to solve this issue? I don’t need to reinstall the game to resolve it do I?

Side note: I do have connection to the Internet (as I have just posted this now with a good Internet connection). My computer is connected with an Ethernet cable to a properly running modem and router. Also, no Internet, modem, or router settings have been changed since I was last on GW2.

I have a feeling that this has nothing to do with my connection to the Internet, but possibly an issue connecting to the servers to download the latest and greatest updates.

Any possible suggestions? I greatly appreciate everyones help.

…All I can really say is I’m glad I already killed the World Boss that follows the Knights.

Because it seems like if you missed doing it before this patch, your chances of seeing it have gone out the window.

Yeah, same old rule again, do everything in first two days. And I’m glad too that I did. Probably won’t see holo fight ever again.

I agree. I love the fact that they can go around changing the difficulty of achievements, making them lose their integrity drastically.

This really is too bad. And quite upsetting too. I am one of those who were not fortunate enough to finish the living world event within the first few days. I am very disappointed about this. I am curious as to why ArenaNet is starting to make these events near impossible to accomplish.

The reality of this is that once people start to realize that the event is too hard to complete, less and less people are going to try which will eventually make the events impossible to accomplish due to a lack of people.

Moral of the story is that, even though none of us want an easy mission, we also don’t want one that is so hard it makes people quit trying to do them.

I am sure we have all heard this same thing in many other ways and multiple times, but I hope that maybe this will put things in an easy to understand way.

Game is updating. Sooo…maybe its fixed?
