Do we have a reason for this skill to be:
– condition clear
– damage
– aoe
– very low cooldown (16 sec)
– no cast time

Yes we do, since years… Where have you been?

1. The skill’s utility is same like in the old patch.
2. We guardians have a lot of condi removals and believe me this one is the least you should be worried about.
3. This has only one use > medi guardian and some weird bunker’s.
4. Learn what classes do and what guardian is made for. What is the purpose for having these skills.
5. Most of the build’s using this skill don’t use it for damage just to cleanse one condi not for a finisher since it’s damage is low so you can’t count on it for these purposes.
6. 16/20 sec cd? It was like this from months you just noticed it?
7. The skill doesn’t have a purpose to be an offensive skill it just removes one condi, do you even know how much 360 radius is ingame?

8. You don’t even know what the skill is being used for, you just got owned by someone.

Market has become unresponsive since like 30-40 minutes ago. I bought items instantly (not with buy-order) money went away I got nothing to pick up as a result. Also sold a lot of powerful blood but never got money to pick up. I hope it will all be fixed and everyone will get their items and gold. Please take care about this because it’s not just me whole Lion’s Arch is talking about this issue.

OP I was thinking the same way like you before I started to play GW2 3 months ago. Allow me to give you my view of things. I played Aion for 4 years I’m not bragging but I made 4 sets 65lvl PvP only AP gear on +15 have multiple Mythical weapons
on +15 and that’s all on one char not to mention the other 6 of them. And all of that costed me enormous time effort a lot of nerves and a lot of dissapointment during making. What I realized is that this was much more repeatative than here. Because every single patch new gear, oh look a new instance new world boss and so on. This is a grindfest to stay competitive. I’m a hardcore player so I want to rush for things as fast as I can. Don’t get me wrong Aion is an amazing game I just had enought of it.
Being in here and left that mentality (gear/holy trinity etc…) behind makes it a lot more fun for me. I can do what I want when I want. I don’t have to worry about someone out gearing me or not having a specific gear to join a dungeon or World/Arena PvP. All of this breaks the chain for me “You must have that or do that” thing. Playing for 3 months already made a Twilight have ascended set
and full accessories, and I don’t have to bother for anything at all except getting a nice skin or a colour when I want one. The game doesn’t push me around to do stuff because I must have them In order to enjoy it. I can leave as I please without bothering that I will leave my premade alliance for 24 man dungeon for example. Elitist’s here
compared to other MMOs are nothing. Since there is no real gap between you and them except skill wise, everything in here is practice and knowledge
about how things work. You stated that you made 3 lvl 80’s in two months well seems like you got a bit burned out there, take it easy.
About the grinding being not that rewarding at some places/dungeons path’s its true you are right there. The “having your back thing feeling”. That guardian behind you poping that stability or curing your conditions at a critical moment is someone having your back for example. Try to look at the game on a different way and you may enjoy it. Excuse me mate, but Judge’s Intervention is the only skill which a Medi Guard can use to teleport if he has a target . And I have around 25-35 ping so no I wasn’t imagining this, because of lag. That was something different.

So I was a just a witness to a guardian who can teleport, like 4 times during PvP, in a matter of 5 seconds in the mid of a fight. The person was jumping like a popcorn in a pan. This was one of the most Insane s*it which I ever saw. Hacker’s are still going around unpunished and free. Since Anet don’t give a s*it about anything. When are you people going to do anything? What about the flying Golem dudes in WvW???

So let me get this straight, one of the few actually good things which happened to guardian this last patch should be nerfed because you think the dungeon’s were easy? Is this some kind of joke?!?! People are never happy about anything when you give them something. “No this is broken it should not be like that”, when its suck’s “Bla bla bla we didn’t get anything” and so on. Stop crying and write useless post’s, about a class which suffers from the most from every other.

Apparently you get my post in a wrong way, that wasn’t an angry rant just observation. As I said we shall see what will happen after a couple of weeks, and with all do respect this is a guardian forum, not a necromancer one.

We got turned into peasants with greatswords and hammer’s, from what I see so far from the livestreams, compared to other classes. I personally don’t see guardian being so viable as it was on the last patch, but everything will become more clearer after a week or so after the patch. I hope I’m wrong.

Well if you like to pay for things which you own already and they should cost half the price at least, thats your own choice feel free to pay the system and being “you know what” by it. Some people actually value their money and what they are investing them into.

This is different man, but you still can, and don’t compare this to other games, because in here you can buy everything with money exactly since the gear isn’t so complicated to get. Go try Aion, put 500 euros in your bank account and let me see what you can do with it within the ingame shop, nothing except buying a ready account from someone from some site. You can actually buy currency in here or you forgot about it? Just because you think you did something special everyone farm’s for stuff, but this doesn’t change the overall picture.

That right there just killed it for me. Korean MMO’s are so good that they all end up being P2W and a huge Grindfest for BIS Gear .
