Woe is You [Woe] is an english speaking casual/semi-hardcore PvX/WvW guild based out of the Blackgate Server. Our guild boasts private ventrilo and forums, along with a friendly, helpful environment. What is the Blackgate War Council?

The Blackgate War Council is a large scale World vs World vs World Alliance within Guild Wars 2 stationed on the Blackgate server. A movement originally founded by Charla Tan to unify the servers community, The BWC currently consists of over 15 guilds representing a 24 hour watch over our servers WvW initiative. The Council’s main goal is to raise server awareness and involvement pertaining to WvW activity, as to improve the overall experience of the environment. For us to succeed as a server, we need to work together, the pathways of communication must be opened, and above all, thou should know thy neighbor & fellow warrior.

How do I get my guild involved?

The best way to get started is to apply at our private forums. We are currently only seeking Leaders/Officers of guilds as applicants for our private forums, but we welcome all players to join us on our public forums linked above and below this reading. Please note all applicants must be able to verify their guild leadership/officer status.

What if my guild does not partake in WvW?

Thats ok! The simple fact your guild houses itself on Blackgate entitles you to a position on the Council. We want to get as much of the server involved as possible. WvW does not just benefit the competitors, it can benefit the entire server in many ways with many bonuses! The simple fact is like any war, ours also takes resources. You can still be a huge contributing factor to victory for your server, without lifting a finger physically in the battlegrounds! Take confidence in knowing your efforts and contributions will yield you great rewards!

What if I am not in a guild?

The simplest question of them all- Join one! Preferably one that is already pledged to the BWC!
