Hey all, I’m looking for an active guild to run with. I have a guild for personal storage and well updated that I’m willing to do a cross over with the right guild as for bounty’s, not there on update but with some help could be there in 2-3 weeks. I’m on 2-3 days a week and off and on other days (job). Any guild out there that is a 50% rep look up and we can talk. I have 8 80’s and 500 crafting on most professions. Did we all forget that we can be part of multiple guilds at a time? Rep one guild for loot per week then switch back to farm for your small guild until you unlock the content.
This isn’t rocket science, use the tools the game provides.

Only guild members who successfully complete the bounty they triggered. No one else gets the guild commendations since they were not part of the guild event.

Calling out a Challenge:
Well for one player here, i’d like to call out on “Colin” from the Guild Wars team:
1) What are your thoughts on all the feed back on the guild missions ( as we have not heard from anyone there)
2) Why are you pushing small guilds out of the loop
3) Challenge: start a 10-15 guild run avg 2hrs a day with say 2-3 on a normal scale per day when you are on and tell us how well that a small guild does at current influence rates. NO toons can be over powered have to be same lvl as normal game players and you can have gamers play NO STAFF but yourself. Oh you have to earn upper lvl gear, remember your and avg player in a small guild.
4) Refer to #3 you only have 3-4 days a week to this as you have a RL job and family. Plus you can have 20k in influence but not place in AOW tier.
I think you may get to the point that RL gamers are looking at, the fact that people don’t like being told how to play the game like some large guilds and The Guild Wars team are doing.
Please be aware that I have been in large guild’s that play=job, but they are not all like that.
WILL YOU TAKE THE CHALLENGE? 30days of this and you will see that small guild’s got hacked and burned at the stake.
lets see if there is proof in the pudding… please post your comments, as if they play why no play like the rest of gamers in RL.
well with the guild missions and getting enough people to make the influence to run said missions im sure you will have a hard time, but i could be wrong. Depends on what your goal is……
Yeah my guild just blew a lot of gold and 30k influence to get to art of war 5, and we still need to wait a week to train it up.

Just curious, but why weren’t you training it up prior to the announcement of guild missions? Or if you were, how much of a priority was it for you?
Blacklight, most of us are totally wanting the guild missions. Especially us PvE guilds. The issue is they put it in Art of War at Tier 5 which was exclusively WvW track until 4 or 5 days ago. Those of us that don’t like WvW were not leveling it up. Why would we if we don’t do WvW? So now we are having to scramble to unlock a track we had zero interest in til now. I hope that clears it up for you. Do you see the disconnect for some of the players here? Why should PvE guilds have to unlock Art of War stuff to do PvE stuff? The reasons that Izzy gave weren’t really thought out well either. ArenaNet is basically telling the PvE only guilds that they are giving guilds that do everything a headstart to PvE access simply by way of them liking content that PvE guilds don’t like. It makes no sense. If it was really the way that Mr. Cartwright was explaining and they wanted it to be challenging for EVERYONE to get, they would have made a whole new tier for Guild Missions.
Im on a total agreement, just open a new tier= fair play for all guild’s. As it stand WWW guild’s and large one’s in some aspect have a real unfair advantage.
If they are they must be ignoring the issue’s in the game, see so many broken issues they refuse to address. GAME is great but in my view its going to garbage , fix stuff if your playing so much and quite blind siding it.
Ok here is the issue and its not just mine. anyone else has this shout out because the tread open for this is just that and no support it seems also.
1) no influence gain in 4 days as of now and no replys, just ignored on issue.
2) forced to grind gold in game so i can buy that influence with no issues, events and such do not give us influence (broken).
3) small guilds being pushed out it seems with new content we’ll see if that is true
4) game has become a grind feast just to play
all post are clearly blocked or closed on these issues, just a few answers would be nice.
any comments would be nice also, as im at the end with bugged game they cant seem to fix, great but like a cracked glass hard to drink from.
I have a guild with me and my roommate we have be getting 20 influence for events till today any else not able to get guild influence called maw from start to finish 4 time which should be 400 influence but, not moving up
Seems we have been left in the cold with no answers, i cant earn it but i can buy it in game that really seems to be an issue. Dont expect a fast reply ive been waiting for 3+ days with none.
Yes i know there’s a post for this! But it seems that no one is at home to answer the main question ( IT NEEDS FIXED ). A little unfair to just bounce the issue around with no answers to the is it or is not going to fixed. I have lost 3 days worth of influence and just seems im being ignored with a real issue that seems to affecting alot of guilds out there.
please just pass a little support on how this may or may not be fixed. And just for the record we have stood down on all members to see if that fixed issue and answer is no. Plus no response to all the complaints of this issue, just like some help.
Ok Guild Wars team its gotten old and i dont beg so ill be blunt, almost 3days for myself and others unknowen but i know im not alone in this turmoil of influence not being awarded for guilds. Im going to say how i see it, its a bug and exploit on the game side that is hendering players from awards and progresss that they have earned as you the ( game company ) have set forth in terms of the process of which influence is gained. You may not like how this was said , but you seem to be ignoring the issue that some guilds are bing cheated from proper influence gains, so before you lock this why dont you just fix the issue and address it? I love the game but customer service is the worst ive ever seen! Im personaly out apox. 300 +/-influence, listen to your player base it might help. The comments from myself are personal views only and not directed at anyone in person.
Ok for 2 days now guild can not gain influence from events but we can buy it, reset, stood down and still no changes, this seems to be an issue with little to no feed back or help. Is this an issue or a bug?
Question? After 12hrs no influence gain from dailies, yes that was done when they flipped new last night and no gain this am for my guild. so i ran a few events and even more no influence gain again. So big question is are other guilds having this issue? and yes im reping for the guild. So far im looking 10 events lost……feed back would be helpful.
thanks for any answers…….Ok day 2 and still after all the reset and all no influence and no help from support, really? well i can buy influence but cant earn it, this is a very strange deal. And lack of support..
Hmmm looks like small guild’s get ripped on this issue, grind. grind and more now more grind….I have a rl also. Make a great game and now people in small guilds will have to sit out or pony up cash (gems) to get up gold to upgrade, great job! Maybe the peeps thinking all of these new ways to trill the gramers sound open ears and eye’s to the player base, seems like a good suggestion. large guild’s do get easy reaping try a a small guild under 10 and do some math. just tought for food.
Im a working person and have ltd time too play, i have a full time job. Im looking for guild that has some team work and does not look at this game as job. I have 4 lvl 80’s and mainly play on my ranger, pve and wvw. I do not ask for much except to make new freinds and have some fun. Im on yak’s bend> send info…..looking for a large guild 100+ members.
6x on lvl 4 and guess what im still lvl 4 , its a shame that players waste there time with a reward of nothing. laged out each time, fotm is a waste if you cant play, but that is a personal thought. i feel the pain players are nagging on, please fix the lag or cap server
