A response with a general time frame would certainly be appreciated. Not sure if we will see that or not either, though. :/

**Please** Give us Guild Tools

Good morning Suggestion Thread.

I’m not normally one to post and whine in forums, but we are 9 MONTHS into the game, and still no Guild Administrative Tools! If guild leadership wishes to maintain an active healthy guild, we are forced to maintain external databases with last login times ourselves. This is becoming extremely bothersome at this stage in the game. Something as simple as a last login time stamp next to the character name in the roster would be of so much use, and help, to us.

Guild Admins have very few community guild tools available to them, and surely the irony of this in a game called GUILD WARS is not lost on you. (No in game calendar, permanent guild bios that don’t suck up the motd, no player activity timestamps etc). We as players keep being told that ‘guild tools are coming’ but at 9 months into the game, they are still not here, and it’s becoming a sore topic for those of us that have been patiently waiting.

Is there a time frame in which we can expect these tools to be implemented, or is this simply how it will always be in Guild Wars 2?

#RookstarWASrobbed!!!

I didn’t get to attend this, lol, but I have heard all about it from my guildies and from Rook. I know he had a heck of a good time, though, even though he’s still jesting about being robbed. lol

Wow!!! So much fun! I just finished Act 4 Mad King Says mini event and I wanted to let the krewe at Anet know how WONDERFUL it was. I enjoyed it so much; I think it was the highlight of my GW2 experience! I played GW1 for 3 years, so I had some lofty Halloween expectations, and so much has deviated from the GW1 experience that I was kind of cynical coming into Act 4, but I have never been so glad to be so utterly wrong in all my life. lol

As always it was a joy to watch my fellow players die when they failed at emoting, the costume brawl at the end was hilarious (especially when people realized their was a chest and were attempting to reach it through the brawlers lol), touring the town with the Mad King was great fun (some pretty creative jokes in there!), and the ‘Free Candy’ door totally pwned me. HAHA It was a blast, I have loved it, and was overjoyed at the return of the witch’s event hat!

Wonderful job, to the entire team. You guys are freaking incredible! I love you!!! Best Holiday event in any MMO I have ever played! Well done!!!

P.S. I would also like to add, the Clock Tower ruled! Most frustrating yet rewarding jumping puzzle I have ever had the pleasure to crack. Superb!

Act 2 = Failed Design - Inconsiderate for low level alts

I felt like the Phase 1 event was inconsiderate for my end game character, so I was excited when Phase 2 came and I could get something semi useful.

I agree with the Original Poster. Please consider giving us either our own private instance Anet, or allowing us more time so that people can stagger and not obscure jumps.

[Complaint] After 7 hours I give up ...

I’ve been working on the clock tower for 3 hours now, and I do feel like there is a major problem with it. Anet should consider either giving us more time or allowing us our own private instance. If you’re an Asuran and there are Norns or Charr in your clock tower instance you literally cannot see where you are to make the jumps. Because of the close time restraint you can’t stagger people out either. Everyone is on top of one another until people fall off. I purposefully chose to attempt this beginning at 3am as well, hoping that the early morning would alleviate the crowd. It did not.

I am really hoping that Anet can remedy this by either giving the player their own private instance to avoid this disparity, or by allowing us a bit more time so we can stagger out and avoid being one large lump of bodies. As it stands, the clock tower is not fun for me, and I normally adore jumping puzzles. I absolutely abhor this crowded mess that I feel would otherwise be a fun challenge.

Boss Fights, No healing class, is there any point to this?

I’m sorry, I couldn’t disagree more OP.

I love that there is no healing class, and the boss fights are challenging for me and my guild, perhaps we are just not very good players, but the encounters currently present us with a very fun and enjoyable experience. Challenging enough to feel like we’ve accomplished something, but not so difficult that we’re bashing our heads into a wall.

I enjoy the current system greatly.

I adore this game! I truly feel like the Anet team has done an exceptional job on all fronts PvE and PvP, and I was thrilled to see some of the other account wide changes that have taken place, and would like to suggest one more.

Karma points being account wide. Because of certain DR limitations, I don’t feel like it’s worth it to remain on my main for very long. As a result, I’ve begun leveling alts, which has been an absolute joy in itself, but I can’t help but succumb to that nagging feeling that I’m going to have to start the karma grind all over again on this new character, which will also encounter a DR wall, which means this fresh beautiful new toon is going to succumb to the same fate that sent me off to level an alt in the first place.

If karma points were available on an account wide base, like gold, dungeon tokens, and specialized armor skins, I feel like it would be a great way to encourage players to try all of the classes, as well as unclog some of the high level zone karma events. It would offer some great versatility to the game that would allow players to experiment with other classes while still working toward an end game goal.

Just a small thought and idea from a very devoted player. Great job thus far ArenaNet!
