I rerolled a warrior, and it’s insanely easy compared to elementalist.

I rarely get below 3/4 health on the warrior in the personal stories. The elementalist is nerfed way too much when going into personal story areas.

Elementalist tanky? No. Can kite? Only in open areas. Can heal? A little, as long as you can kite away from the enemies. And can’t heal NPCs apparently. If you are so good why don’t you post a vid of yourself being awesome so the rest of us can see you in action?

Of course I did swap to other attunements, but my character traits are fire based so the others are relatively weak.

And yes I try to let the dude tank for me. I keep getting the elemental down to like 5% health but Im’ constantly dead.

Gear is good, weapons good, heal doesn’t seem to help my NPC which is seriously bugged.

In general elementalist survivability is VERY POOR. It seems that when they nerf your level to put you in the personal story, they are nerfing elementalists too much. I basically never die in the real world, but in story quests I die quite a lot.

Fix this ANet, it’s no fun.

Moving on to play other games for a while. Who knows if I’ll come back to this no-endgame-the-story-is-the-point-but-wait-the-story-is-stupidly-imbalanced game. It’s nice, but it should be soloable, and the storyline quests for elementalists definitely aren’t.

So I’m a fire elementalist. And I cannot solo this story? Guy is immune to fire and 1-shots me constantly?

ANet, seriously, fire the guy who came up with this story. He is not helping you.

“Let’s make a story that’s impossible for fire elementalists to solo. That will really make them like our game!”

Apparently there is NOBODY in this zone for the past hour, I’ve been asking for help in chat, to no avail.

I should just uninstall now?

Or maybe I’ll just ignore all the personal stories?

This is seriously stupid.
