Anyone who looks at these images can tell ET is assaulting the south gate, and storm is attacking the east and west gates. Anyone who has been inside garrison before, knows there isnt a way for either ET or Storm to engage one another till they meet at the lords room. So yes, HoD had the defend garrison against both Storm and ET.

If this is the same engagement I was in last night, then i can tell you ET didnt stay at garrison for long. We actually wiped ET shortly after they knocked on the south gates. Afterwards ET turned their attention on Greenlake, which was being hammered by 5 trebs.

Once HoD took care of ET, we focused our attention on storm and the tower, dawn, they were trebing us from. We countered the first treb with our own. But then they built another while we were assaulting dawn and destroyed the our treb. Me and my guild ran down to the bottom of the cliff right below Dawn. The position was at the sentry between Dawn and the east keep. We built a treb in a position their’s couldn’t counter because they were too high up. After we destroyed the treb we pushed storm out of garrison, and storm gave up.

After successfully defending garrison, HoD turned their focus on ET assaulting greenlake. We managed to make it just in time for the wall to fall. When we realized there wasnt a supply camp, HoD zerg took one and everyone used the supplies from it to repair the nearly defeated wall. My small guild help push greenlake’s defender out. Myself and some friends charged into the middle of ET’s zerg to destroy a half health treb, and a second. At this time HoD pushed ET far enough to burn down the last three.

After all of that i logged. I dont know what happend after. But im sure our night crew cleaned up.

I’m getting tired of people saying HoD only wins because of our night crews. This isnt true. I only play at primetime, and everytime im online we are fighting two fronts, and some how HoD is still able to defend and assault at the sametime.

If it was true, that HoD only wins because of night hours, then explain why storm’s borderland was completely green during most primetime hours last week?

You must havent been in ruin for long. It isn’t ruin’s reputation in Guild Wars 2 that hurts them, its their reputation in other games. More specifically their forum presence. Just ask what archaos’ nickname in warhammer online was.

I did a little digging, because i knew ruin had posted something about purposely forming raids to hunt and kill lowbies in their areas, and this is what i had found.

It was actually a “christmas special.” Of them bragging about killing lowbies. Of crouse the videos were taken down, but you can get the idea what they were doing from the post in the thread.

That is why HoD thinks there is a truce.. Everyone is out to get them, whether we are aware of it or not.

World pvp = zerg pvp. If you think the biggest problem with WvW is zerg winning, then im sorry, that isnt going to change. Just be happy Anet gave small groups something to do. They could have put three forts in the map and tell us “have at it.”

The server who can both zerg well, and use guerilla tactics will be the best. You can’t have one without the other, just doesnt work that way.

To SBI there isnt a truce. But i know from personal experience fighting in storm’s borderland, that ET are purposely trying to camp HoD at their spawn. I been told all the time in ET’s chat “dont attack SBI.” Judging from SBI’s tactics, its clear they aren’t getting the same posts in their chat, however im sure they are also not aware the ET’s entire focus is HoD.

Steelbluff Isle, you will always have my respect, i can understand the frustration you feel against others claiming SBI has a truce with ET. But, there is no hiding it, ET is fighting for second in the rankings, not a smart move in my opinion. They will just be hated by HoD, and HoD will be out for blood not ranks anymore.

I really shouldnt be pointing the finger all of ET server, because i know a few guilds i have fought with in storm’s territory. It is more specifically ruin ordered to kill only HoD. However, they are the zerg guild of ET, so naturally others will join them, whether they are part of ruin or not, so it make it seem all of ET is fighting against HoD.

I wouldnt be to worried about it, because like i said before, SBI isnt aware of any truce. So"If it’s red it’s dead" to SBI, and ET will have no other choice but to fight SBI.

Even though I love the three server thing anet has with WvW. I would like to see a match against HoD ans SBI, just to see those two server pushed to their limits against one another.

Look at it this way. Those disconnect, and crashes, help shorten the que times..

He is absolutely right.

I was at SBI borderlands last night, and we were being hit hard on both fronts, so like any army spread out too thin, we lost everything. During those moments of defeat, a very small minor started saying things like “game over.” The flak those people got from others was truely surprising. People weren’t going to let a few whiners represent what they believed, which was the fact it wasn’t game over, the game was just beginning.

We came back with a fierce counterattack, and push ruin back to their side of the map. Of crouse we didnt get much farther, because we were still fighting storm to our right. However we held what we could, and during such extreme circumtances, that is the most anyone could have asked from us.

I was very impressed by HoD last night, and I think its safe to say that everyone else was to..
