I’m going to give this a little nudge. I’m up to level 40. I am really enjoying the pvp, but I’m not very good at it yet… Too bad I don’t have a group of awesome people to help pick at my flaws!

Hello! I’m new around here, but I spent a lot of time on WoW back in the day, so I’m familiar with what it is like to play an mmo. GW2 is turning out to be pretty different, and I feel like I’m missing out on a lot by playing it alone. First, I want to apologize because I will probably be very long winded in this post. To make it a little easier on you, I’ll bold the important bits.

TL;DR version available in bold

I am around level 30 and looking for a preferably large guild to help me out while I level. I mean no offense to small guilds! I just really would like a guild that has groups of people that play in each aspect of the game so that I can experience it all with the people who love it and figure out what I love in the game. I also like it when I’m never the only one online, no matter when I can manage to find time.

I might provide 100% representation for quite a while, but I would like the option to join another guild if I want, so please don’t demand 100% rep of me. If necessary, I am willing to change server but I am playing mostly in the late midwest evenings and sporadically from the United States, so no EU please.

When it comes to my role, I enjoy being a healer and I’m still learning how to be one on GW2, so no promises on skill. I am willing to use voip like teamspeak, but I have mic shyness and prefer to lurk and reply in text when able. Which is a big reason I need lots of guild chatter and random conversations in guild chat. I don’t really want a guild that doesn’t talk to each other while they play, or one that only ever communicates through voip.

Casual atmosphere is the best. While I get that raiding and certain things need to have set times, I don’t know that I will want to be apart of those parts of the game, so if your guild is strict and purely content driven, I probably won’t fit in. I have a schedule that is all over the place one week to the next, so it is hard for me to find a good consistent time. Plus, I just don’t do well under strict rules and rigorous progression. And while we are speaking about rules, I’d like a mature group without the need for censorship because I enjoy my occasional cursing or dirty jokes, but I also like to avoid constant drama. That might be a bit much to ask from for a large newbie friendly guild, but I can dream.

I think that is it really. I don’t know what I enjoy most about the game because I have only filled hearts and played in events. I know very little about this game and even less on how guilds really work, but I need people to play with! For real though, what are fractals? What is out there?
