Guild Wars 2

This issue is incredibly odd, and it annoyed me greatly. With a weak network and bad weather, it’s going to take me a good 5 days to redownload this game.

I have no idea how it occured, however. No errors or anything similar have popped up on my screen. I started up the launcher to patch and it merely started redownloading the entire darn game. (Unless the patch is so large that 5% = 1GB.)

Does anyone have any advice to offer on this issue?

The metal loincloth design clips through below the belt of the Caudecus Manor Heavy Leggings. The armour seems to have been purposefully shaded darker to the center, but because the loincloth clips through, it causes a hideous black splotch smack bam in the center. This also seems to only happen with the large bodytypes, as if the loincloth was never locked onto the belt in it’s design phase. With large bodytypes, the legging’s right leg also seems to clip through the back.

It will hurt to see other races than humans wearing the Grenth hood.

So it is for us Norns to see the Stag helm on others even if it’s not the same helm.

(why think something new right?, just copy cat old work).

That’s your idea of copying? Us human’s are feeling a little disappointed. Our -entire- cultural set was copypasta’d.

I’d really love for this to come back. I’d also really enjoy the skins to be done the same way as the Hellfire/Radiant/Zephyr skins. I mean, once off makes it hard for me to decide which character I want it on. The Slickpack? Well, I want to put it on an Engi if I eventually get there. Unfortunately that won’t be soon. Now I have this thing rotting in my inventory. The Fused Gauntlets? They should’ve been made skins. I took heavy. Big mistake. Now I’m stuck with the gauntlets and I’d love to get a skinnable version for my Elementalist. I mean.. I have the achievement. Doesn’t that mean I’ve deserved the skin?

I feel like the devs are a bunch of kiddos loaning their toys out. Sure it’s fun for a brief few minutes, but that kid’s gonna want it back as soon as possible again and that seems to be what’s happening to the living story.

That’s how it feels and to casual players it’s really not enough to get into the content while grinding out a legendary and leveling alts at the same time. Nothing should be ingame for less than a month, in all honesty. I think we’d all agree that permanent content would be better, but I suppose that’s not what the devs want for us.

I feel I can almost claim that some players are getting an advantage with content that they’ve done, that others weren’t even in GW2 for, since achievement points actually count for something -AND- give boosts such as more magic find or karma boosts.

I’m a little irked by this. Vertigale is right, ANet! Let us enjoy what you’ve built, please! This game has so so so much hidden potential, all barred up behind invisible walls/doors. We’ll fill the empty spaces!

I’ve been struggling on this for a while now, I can’t seem to find any unique aesthetically pleasing hammers.

I know you’re thinking, ‘Well, that’s a hectic criteria.’ but when you really put some actual research into it, by comparing the amount of unique GS skins that just look… so good. You’ve got:
Twilight
Dhuumseal
Dusk
Sunrise
Dawn
Breath of Flame
Ebonblade
Foefire’s Essence
Kymswarden
Skybringer

In fact I’m probably missing a few. Anyway, for Hammers, they literally just gave us Foehammer from GW, The Ugly Stick, a Mace, Juggernaut (Which looks more like a staff), Mjolnir (You can try throwing it together in the Mystic Toilet) and Magmaton (which is a look I’m not particularly fond of.)

Personally I’m more fond of hammers that look like the ones in the images that have been attached. Hammers that look like they are made for SMASHing. They’ve honestly got to look top heavy. That’s the idea behind a hammer; using it’s heavy top to obliterate what comes in the path of it’s momentum. Momentum your character gives it.

Please, please ANet, I’m sure there’s more than just me that is pleading for better hammer skins.
