Is there a better option?

So zerker armor with sup infiltration runes.
Valk jewels with beryl stones
And the zerker weapons with sigil of accuracy
Would not be a bad idea?
Given above info about my build. Traits I will worry about later.

Ok helpful players, I am in search of some advice.
I have been playing a Mesmer since release, and a Mesmer is my only character i have played.
Let me give some back ground info on my build and play style.
I run GS/Staff with decoy, the skill that pops 2 illusions, and the signet that gives clones more health. ( I forget the name) my traits are… Well they work.
My usual combo is decoy, 2 clones, mind wrack, as they are rushing I pop a zerker and GS2 followed by GS3, I might swap to staff at this point with a staff 2, and a quick F2 depending on how the zerker is doing.
Slight variations of that combo depending on amount of enemies, and health level.

I ran full carrion all through the leveling process and when i hit 80 I bought an explorers set. (For obvious reasons) that explorers set brought my to map over 90% of the world, as well as all the way through the personal story.
I have saved up all the mats I need to craft a full exotic set, armor, staff, GS, and jewels.
I’m torn on what is going to be the best for my build and play style. I debated carrion again, but then though that I really don’t deal a ton of conditions to justify the carrion set and I think there might be a better option.
Here are my ideas,
A full berserker set, for the added crit damage and precision. But then I thought about the loss of vitality.
So then I looked at Valkyrie set, and then realized I will be missing out on precision and worry about the crit chance being to low.
Now I am maybe debating a mix and match set, of berserker armor with valkrie jewels.
My runes I am thinking of sup infiltration for the added crit stats.
Sigils In the weapons I think sup sigil of accuracy for the same reason.

I would like some opinions based on my build, play style and idea.
If there is a better option please let me know, and back it up on a reason why.
What about the jewel slots? What to stick in the upgrade slots?

My traits I will change based on whatever gear I go with, no need to worry to much about that.
The use of this set will be normal pve, events, dungeons, and the occasional wvw visits.

I have been reading a bit that a common place to farm with a Mesmer is in Soutsun Cove. My question is where exactly? Is there an event chain people are doing? Or is there a certain enemy that is being targeted? I only run across a few Karka’s few and far between, and really haven’t seen much profit come out of it.
Am I missing something?
