So ever since SAB released this year, I have been having the most annoying thing happen to me. I’ll be playing my game (trying for that Master of baubles achievement that takes ages!) and then suddenly my game will minimize to desktop with the cursor still visible and nothing and I mean nothing except a restart works! I thought it happened only in SAB but last night I went to the aerodrome and it minimized on the loading screen. It makes the game totally unplayable and impossible for me to finish my achievements. I submitted a ticket to Anet and they came back with an explanation that since so many people play SAB at the same time, some lag may occur, however, I experience NO lag or drop in FPS while playing (except for when in rata sum around moto, but thats normal).
This is the first time I’ve ever encountered this issue and I can’t figure out whether the problem is with my laptop or something else so if anyone has any idea, please help!
My graphics card is GTX980 with the latest drivers installed.
UPDATE: Just attempted the achievement again with fullscreen disabled and windowed mode enabled and had no problems so if anyone encounters the same bug, try that
Absolutely the WORST quest EVER. Playing a dps tempest with 1k toughness and 12k health, I keep getting thrown around like a rag doll, and eventually die 100% of the time with 0 chance of doing damage. A little bit of advice on designing quests: we DO NOT need adds, Caudecus is REALLY hard on his own, there’s no need for adds; I’m sure everyone’s reaction time is not sufficient to press the button, which ultimately results in defeat. Also, the aoe circles on the ground aren’t helping either. Not everyone is willing to spend 5 hours on this stupid , nerve wrecking quest, Anet. And to think we had to wait extra for this episode…utter disappointment…

Hey guys awesome mesmers everyone! I wanted to ask you all, I’ve seen a thing in game that has left me quite puzzled. I ‘ve come across a floating clock mid- air that is sparkling pink and purple and has two handles that keep rotating quite fast. I just figured it’s a chrono thing hence the clock but wasn’t sure. Does anyone know what that might be? I’m very curious. Thanks
