I appreciate the effort, but it didnt help.
Bump?
Abbadon may have been a human god, but he was forsaken, cruelly and unjustifiably punished by that pantheon just as Prometheus suffered at the hands of the Greek pantheon. For what crime? For the crime of giving humans the biggest and most important gift they have ever received.
And as if being imprisoned in the Realm of Torment (Tartarus for Prometheus) was not enough, the victorious human gods worked tirelessly to erase Abbadon from history.
However, unlike Prometheus, Abbadon was able to break free of his prison, wage war against his captors, and those that would gladly see him tortured and destroyed so that they could please their megalomaniac pantheon of gods. The Charr were graced to serve as a part of Abbadon’s righteous army. Where the Charr were fighting back against the Ascalonians for what was taken from them so long ago, Abbadon was also fighting against what was taken from him so long ago.
All the High Legions have strayed from their path. Iron is too concerned with peace, and using propaganda to confuse the past (Flame Legion called “traitors”, when they are responsible for turning the Charr into a force to be reckoned with and the retaking of Ascalon). The Flame Legion is too busy with their search for false gods. Ash and Blood simply lack the initiative.
You humans need the power of six gods to even stand a chance against the Charr. The Charr do not even require their true god to even be alive.
The only good god is a dead god!
All praise Abbadon!…
Pic related, do your gods even have the combined power to grace you with a week long duration of Protection AND Swiftness?
inb4 High Legion boot licking heretics and humans whine.
where can we find said statue/shrine =)
Looks like the statue from the temple under the ocean where Fort Trinity is. Uhh…Temple of the Forgotten God, I think.

First, the info:
> All graphics drivers and windows are updated
> Direct X is updated
> The SPI router setting has been disabled.
> I’ve deleted the local.dat file several times
> I’ve repaired and reinstalled the game
> My computer is not even a month old and I just installed Win7
> I’ve underclocked my GPU
> I have no other issues playing any other game on this computer, including WoW, Battlefield 2, and ME3/AC3
> Asus’s Thermal Radar is reporting normal temps for all components and all fans running normally
> V sync is enabled.
System specs:
Mobo: Asus Sabertooth X-79
CPU: Intel i7 3820
RAM: 16GB Patriot (4×4 sticks)
GPU: nVidia GTX 660 ti 3gb EVGA superclocked.
OS: Win7 64bit.
Because I play full screen, I’ve only seen an error window once and it reported a kernel error 7 (???) before the window faded out. I’ve searched and there’s been no crash reports stored anywhere on my computer.
What happens:
I will be playing normally, on low settings, high settings, any settings at all with zero lag and a smooth 60 fps when the screen with go black, or sometimes red. I will continue to hear game sounds, skype (and still be able to talk in some cases), but am usually unable to alt tab out and have to power cycle the computer. On the few occasions I’ve been able to alt tab to the desk top, everything else on the computer is operating as normal and I was able to screenshot this one error message included below.
My computer crashes nearly everytime I play GW2, about 30 minutes into the game. I turned on minidumps for Windows recently, so I have 2 logs now which got a lot of info in them.
The logs are attached.
I would be really grateful if someone could analyze those and tell me what the problem is, so I can play GW2 without having to reboot my computer all the time!
I have no OC on my graphic card (GTX 660 Ti) other than the one that came with it. It also didn’t go higher than 77C the first time (didn’t log the second time).
I have the exact same graphics card as you do (EVGA overclocked) and am experiencing similar problems. Underclocking did NOT help me, but I hope it does for you.
Charr, female especially, aren’t overly sexualized, which is a drawback to some people.
This is one of the reasons I play a Charr female. Reasonable sexual dimorphism FTW.
Livia seems a bit too Sylvari, but hey, Amorra Soulkeeper is a lore character, so I suppose more “soft” sounding names can be used for Charr females too. 8/10!
Akiyan Skyhowl. Female warrior of the Blood Legion, grew up on the battlefields of the Ascalonian reconquest, maybe even born there. The story goes that her mother refused to put down her arms until labor pains slowed her down enough for her warband to cart her to a healer. (Though how much of this is truth and how much is proud aggrandizement is hard to tell, stories conflict) Her last name comes from her first clear memory of the sky howling with the canon fire from Charr warmachines.
I’ve been playing WoW/ME3/AC3 all on max settings just fine and nary a hiccup. This is definitely a software issue, and I really hope that ANet can pinpoint it soon. I hate to think I’ve wasted my money on this game for nothing.
Echoing this same issue. I’ll be playing fine, no problems, and suddenly the screen will go black (or in one case: RED) and either crash and restart or force a shut down and restart.
Specs:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 3820 Processor (4x 3.60GHz/10MB L3 Cache)
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth X79
Memory: 16 GB [4 GB X4] DDR3-1600 Memory Module Patriot Intel
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti – 3GB – EVGA Superclocked – Core: 980MHz
I’m running Asus’ AI suite and thermal radar, and its reporting all components running cool as a cucumber, though Speed Fan is reporting my CPU at 128 degrees (O_O) and Speccy says its the motherboard running that hot.
Seeing as I play full screen, I couldnt alt tab out and can’t see which error report Im getting. This computer is less than a month old and its frustrating as hell.
