In addition to your personal storyline quests, you should be filling in the Renown Heart locations on the map by doing the tasks associated with them. If exploration is your thing, you get xp for going to Points of Interest and looking at Vistas. To unlock all of the cool stuff your character can do in later levels, you are going to be wanting to run Hero Challenges. You get xp for gathering resources, and you get xp for crafting. You get xp for participating in Events. And, I’m sure you’ve already noticed that you get xp for uncovering new areas of the maps and travel locations. Guild Wars has actually, as far as levelling goes, done a lot to be the antithesis of grinding – you can be doing just about anything to progress your character, and be getting xp for it.

I enjoyed the event. But, even moreso, I want to say that extending the time for people to get achiements so that the people who missed the event due to Sandy is way classy on Arenanet’s part.

Very interested. Played around 10 hours this weekend, and I’m looking forward to playing more when I get home from work tonight.
