It sounds like the code you received from Gamestop may have been fraudulent, which could be why the account has been suspended. You’ll need to obtain a new code and apply it to your account before it can be reactivated. You should be able to do this buy purchasing a new code via the online store. If this is indeed the reason for the account suspension, which Customer Support can verify, you should be entitled to a refund by Gamestop. I would suggest putting in a support ticket on the issue, let Support investigate and tell you why the account is suspended. If it is because of a fraudulent code, print the response and take that with you (and your original purchase reciept) back to Gamestop and demand a refund.

Currently, there is a 7 day waiting period before he can transfer servers again. Once the new update goes into effect, he will need gems in order to transfer, but he should be able to guest on your server to level. It won’t help with WvW, he’ll need gems in order to transfer to WvW together.

Thank you for all the offers. We’re weighing our options so far, looking for the right home. Guild size is not a major factor to us, though we’re leaning towards a smaller guild as that is usually a tighter-knit community where everyone knows each other rather than being a number amongst a crowd. Guild perks are not important to us at all, these will come with time. Guild bank is also not important as we’re self-reliant on ourselves for crafting materials, and we take pride in crafting the armor and weapons our characters use rather than taking from a guild bank or buying on the Trading Post. If you think we’re a good match to your community, please let us know. We’re not going to rush on this decision, preferring to do it once but do it right.

Thank you for the replies so far, both in forum and PM as well as in-game mail. We do appreciate the responses, and are having a look at the forums. We don’t expect that we’ll make the free transfer cut-off, but that isn’t important. What is important to us is finding the right home. Please keep the replies coming in. :-)

As the title says, we’re an Australian couple looking for a home. We’re currently in a guild, though it seems to be dying a death of 1000 knives. We’re happy to transfer if that is what it takes.

We’re a mature couple, still on the “right” side of 50, seeking a guild that is active. We’re not hardcore players by any stretch of the imagination, we’re looking for more of the social aspects of the game. We’ve even dabbled in RP, though we’re not very good at it, but would not be adverse to an RP guild as long as they don’t mind newbies willing to learn.

What we’re looking for is a guild that is still interested in saying G’day when you log on, that is still interested in doing things as a guild, running dungeons or hopping into WvW as a group. One that realises that real life comes first, and fun is what gaming is about. We’re on mostly AEST evenings and weekends.
