Yeah. Nob guild would be a solid option. They are getting server wide activities started up and do well in wvw. They also seem chill. Worth looking them up.

Update with kaineng. Our overall numbers this week have improved greatly. Some nights we have been popping ques in eternal. Numbers around 3 am est this week was 25-40 players. Still lacking a solid European and late oceanic force but we are definitely improving. We are also seeing an improvement with players in teamspeak.

Kaineng on the 22nd week of this year was at 1048 in the ratings. As of right now on week 29 we are 1165 in the ratings. That’s a descent improvement over 7 weeks, but that does not say everything about our server. Do we have our own problems? Absolutely. I’m not going to come into this thread posting about how we are such a wonderful server. Just like everyone else we have gaps in coverage. Mainly late oceanic and European times. We do however have a quickly improving na primetime that goes strong through early oceanic. If you are an oceanic guild that does focus more on ppt, kaineng at the moment will put you in a good position when you get on.

Now to bring up what we are looking for atm.
1. Small 6-8 man guild that likes to defend our bl or help with taking enemy bl’s. We will come back to defend event the south towers if we have a group that truly wants to defend our borderland.
2. One oceanic commander that is looking to make a guild or increase their guild size here at kaineng. If you want to make a guild here during oceanic time it will not be hard to make one if you put some effort into it.
3. One more descent fighting na guild. This will allow us to have the strongest bronze league na primetime force. We already got 2 larger na primetime guilds that fight near daily and a few others that fight a few times a week.

If the following occurs we should have no issue being near the top of bronze league.

Hello everyone Allergic to grapes here. I am not going to sit here and bolster about how great this guild is or how devonas rest is turning it around. I am coming here to give you my opinion of the server, guild DoCe, and what we are trying to accomplish. Devonas Rest could easily turn this server around. They just got to figure it out.

Now as to guild Doce. We are a guild that has been here for less then 3 weeks. We currently have around 50 members. We normally field 10ish players on weekdays and 15 on weekends. Our raiding time is normally during NA Primetime. 6-7days a week.

The end goal is to become a guild that fields 20-25 players daily and if we start going up the tiers increase to 30 to possibly 35 a day.
We are not going to be the best zerg busting group out there, but we’ll be descent.
We do have plans to do gvg’s in the future once we are set up better.

The guild does have some expectations from players looking to join. We require 3 things.
1. That you show that you can use teamspeak. (no Mic required)
2. That you sign up for our new guild website. http://doce.guildlaunch.com/
3. That if you are on gw2 you will Raid when we are raiding.
Honestly for a wvw guild, that is setting to be competitive, that is not asking much.

This is a new guild and with that said this could be the perfect guild for some of you. I am still looking for people capable of commanding during fights. And commanders capable of map reading well. Bump. Got 2nd place in the last 2 match ups. Doing well on this weeks reset. We are becoming known more for our defense of the borderland. We have a oceanic guild coming to ar as well soon. This will turn our bronze league oceanic force into a tough time for many enemy bronze league forces. Again things are looking good here in anvil rock. Weekday forces are almost on par with our weekend force.

Hello. I am a commander here on anvil rock and would like to tell you a little bit about anvil rock and how we are fairing in both the wvw side and the community side.
1st off to answer your questions.

How well would our small group of 15 fit into the WvW scene?

When it comes down to tier 7-8 a 15 man group does bring a bigger impact to the match up. I read that you like to stay in the home borderland to defend, but do like to raid here and there. When it comes to defense, if you needed help a simple pm will always do and our bigger force on the maps at that time will come to help. We will afterwards help fix broken walls or gates and then help replace siege if needed then continue on. When it comes to raids if you feel you need a few more people ask anytime and we will bring people over unless we are in a bad situation on another map. Basically if you let us know what your moves are we will try to find ways to help support those moves.

Do you think your server would support our crazy events? What kind of WvW events do you already have?

Well I have always wanted to try necro minion night or a flame troll night so I don’t see why not. Most on our teamspeak are new so we have not yet set much in the form of specific events. We were planning a pajama party l8r on this week though.

If you could change 1 thing about your server, what would it be?
Wish more including myself were more active on forums. We have promoted TeamSpeak a lot these last 3 weeks but rarely about forums.

As a server we have been improving a lot over the last month. A month ago you were lucky to get 10 people in TeamSpeak. It has now increased to around 40 at primetime each day and 100 or so at reset. I’ve had mail from another server asking about our teamspeak due to our quick reactions to any threat on our maps.
We have also had a new commander join the server and guild km join the server. Both have been overall pleased with their choice. A lot of people that saw wvw as a drag finally see wvw as a fun challenging opportunity. People are learning here. Siege is getting refreshed more often. It’s an overall good atmosphere here for a server that not to long ago was at rock bottom. It would be nice to talk to you to see if ar is the right server for you. If it is then great. If not then best of luck in your endeavors. We have a lot to improve on here but we are definitely on the upside.

Bump. Reset went quite well. coordination within ts kept us from losing our keeps throughout reset, and we are still seeing an increase in both players in wvw and on teamspeak. Anvil Is really stepping up in wvw and event when we occasionally wipe we still keep our numbers in wvw. Morale is good here in Anvil Rock. People are excited. Still just need 1 or 2 more good commanders to keep the momentum 24/7.

Hello sephiroth. I am a commander over here in anvil rock and would like to let you know a little about who we are and what we are trying to accomplish. Currently we are a tier 8 server that is starting to rebound for the better. People are now getting on teamspeak, our overall fighting has gotten better and we are now seeing the rewards from all of this. More and more are jumping into wvw excited for the next fight. Most that jump into wvw though are not part of a wvw guild. If you are trying to get more recruits into your guild for wvw you will find it quite easy here in anvil rock. Also believe me when I say that while I am commanding if you need help in either defense and or offensive attacks myself and the rest of our group will be there to help support you and those moves. If you decided to come to anvil rock guilds will notice you and be supportive towards you as long as you are not overall rude towards people. Anvil rock is turning for the better and it would be great to have you come join us. Also if gems is an issue myself and others can help negate some of the cost to transfer here. If you have any questions at all feel free to ask anytime.

Hello everyone I put this post here on November 7th and decided to rewrite it on November 18th.
1st off. I would like to say that we are no longer starting to rebound. We already have rebounded quite nicely. 3 weeks ago we were lucky to have 10 on teamspeak and now we get 40 on at a time at primetime with 100-120 at last reset.
Now I know that does not mean everything but that is a sign that anvil rock is starting to work better in the wvw community. We are improving a lot. Our numbers have nearly doubled in wvw over the last 3-4 weeks. People in anvil rock are excited to play wvw for the 1st time in many months.
Guild Shhh just came over and another commander has come over and are pleased so far with ar. This is probably due to the mindset of the zerg helping out where needed, whether that is helping a smaller guild with a siege defense, setting them up for a raid, or being the distraction for that guilds attack. Here in anvil rock we will support almost anything you do here if you or your guild decided to come here.

Just because one Commander, who we probably never seen before, is using hacks doesn’t mean “Darkhaven” as a whole is using them. But like I said goodluck with your crusade, little man.

I’m sure FC has its share of hackers too, but I’m not sure I’ve seen it on quite so large a scale as we’ve seen in this mathcup, that’s for sure.

Whole guilds setting up 5-10 arrow carts and using LOS exploits. Reporting commanders so they can’t use chat. Logging to avoid stomps. Roaming groups flickering around? It’s quite excessive.

Only thing I’ve seen from fc is that they got a thief that knows how to stealth hack jump through the wall on the backside of wc and into wc. Only seen him get in 1 time so far. oops did I just tell everyone that trick 0.o

probably a Mesmer thief combo you don’t know about. back when I was in ehmry we would here from enemy servers constantly calling hacks yet it was always this group of 2 thiefs 1 Mesmer that would still be inside. Better check your keeps better next time. Also quit calling zoom hacks everytime you lose a ballista or ac inside a tower. 90% of you have no clue what your talking about when calling hacks. I think maybe 1 time I’ve been like wth how did their ac hit us. Every other time they take one of our ac’s out it hasn’t been due to hacks. For those that know how to take ac’s out in towers keep it up.

Hi we are a smaller but serious group of wvw’ers looking to gain more members with the same mindset. We are trying to recruit until we can get 15-20 members on wvw each night. We are normally on between 6 pm server time to 3 am server time. We are currently about 5-7 members short each night. That is why we are now posting here on forums. Our current rank is 23/24. We were as low as 910-915 points but have gained close to 100 points over the last 4 weeks. Numbers within wvw have definitely improved over the last month. Normal fights are between gom, fc, et, dr, sf, and hod. Early afternoon to na prime time is our weaker areas.

This server has some potential to get to and stay at tier 6. Anvil rock numbers are not all that bad. During the evening server time they tend to lack. Part of the reason is due to lack of commanders. They do make up however by their oceanic group which is actually quite strong. This server has the potential to pull as many as 40-50 people around 3 am server time on weekends and 30-40 people on weekdays. These numbers can stay at or around these numbers for 6-8 hours if the server has commanders on.
This server does have an issue getting people on teamspeak. I’ve been able to get a descent amount of people on me when commanding but anvil rock still resist the teamspeak idea no matter how much I bring it up. A lot of work to be done on this end.

These are the ratings I would give on anvil rock in the following subjects.

Guild- Ability to recruit on server. 10/10 Extremely easy to recruit here.
Guild-Ability to start wvw guild here. 10/10
Guild- Ability to work cohesively with other guilds. 3/10
Guild- People on teamspeak. 2/10 I can get 4-5 on max.
Guild- Server’s ability to fight in combat in larger numbers. 2/10 Too many use roaming builds in bigger fights.

Individual- Ability to find small skilled guild. 4/10 There’s a few.
Individual- Ability to find a larger skilled group. 2/10 Tfh is the only guild atm.
Individual-Ability to roam and find players. 7/10 A lot of roamers on server’s we play.
Individual-Guilds that use some form of communication. 4/10 Descent amount use their own comms.
