Just wanted to suggest changing how some of the statues abilities work in order to allow mapping to be made easier when people are no longer doing the temples (and lets face it, temples rarely get done at peak times, let alone during off peak hours). For any skill points sitting at either a Lyssa, Melandru or Balthazar statue, it is difficult if not close to impossible to commune with a skill point due to the effects these statues generate (melandru is almost impossible), so I was thinking why not have something instead as either damage over time, but how poison or such would react, or maybe allow those statue effects to only occur if the player is in combat. Just would make mapping easier for many now that are trying to do it but the temples are staying contested because nobody is doing them.
How was this issue resolved, as I am having the same problem? Quick ground off or on, and unable to use the skill. Other 5 skills work, along with other ground target skills on other classes.
That was selected initially, but on an initial search of the forums I’ve found others had changed that option and it helped them, and yet with me I still am unable to activate the skill. I’ve even tested my cursor just now with it very close to my character (ie in range) and hit 5 and the skill still will not activate.
I understand how it works. I have my ele at 80 already and use the targeting constantly. The problem is is I will hit 5 and nothing will happen. No targeting at all. Essentially, its almost as if the skill isn’t activating.
So this is the only skill that is not working on my longbow bar, and I’m kinda curious as to why, since others are not having this issue. I’m pretty sure I’ve disabled every option available that may be causing the problem, but any other suggestions would be welcome.
Yes this is working as intended, to help keep things balanced. Plus, if you look at the major runes, for having all those stat boosts over 6 pieces of armor would make things rediculously overpowered.
There is one in the southeast corner that was kinda out of the way in Bloodtide.
Its not just about stopping gold farmers and such, but also about the player economy. If everyone could farm at the same rate constantly, the total economy would go completely bottom up. This gives those higher level items a great deal more value. There is a possibility that the code may change in the future, but I highly doubt it. Accept things as they are and learn some of the additional farming locations for those particular items.

Yes most stuff purchased by Karma is soulbound. That being said, cooking materials are not, and can readily be sent to your bank, and some can go for nice amounts on the tp. But as Neoheart said, its entirely possible in the future that character race change will be available, but we probably won’t see anything like that for several months at least, once the game is far more stable.
