Guild Wars 2

This happened to both me and my husband last night on the same map, within about 10-15 mins of each other. We have a tendency to jump randomly while running around maps, just for fun, and on one such jump all the NPCs and monsters instantly disappeared as I landed. Was a little freaked out, so I logged out and logged back in, and then the game magically ported me to Lion’s Arch when I had been in Gendarran Fields at the time of the bug. Then about 1.5 hours later, I was jumping around in Diessa Plateau trying to get to a vista, and all the NPCs and monsters disappeared again at the tail end of a jump. As I was running around in curiosity, suddenly I received 40,000 damage and was instantly killed. The same thing happened to my husband in Diessa Plateau within 10-15 mins of my insta-death.

His theory was that the GMs were having fun, lol.

Is this guild still active? I have seen zero information about a GW2 guild on the SOLA website, and there is no GW2 channel on your Teamspeak..

Greetings! My husband and I are veteran gamers, though somewhat new to GW2. We each have one level 80, and some low level alts, and are currently hoping to find a nice active guild community that is family-friendly or Christian-based. Preferably one that has active PvE content and participators; we do not play PvP/WvW and are not looking to change servers (currently on Devona’s Rest) – though of course we are perfectly fine Guesting!

Some things we are looking for:
• PvE centric events (or at least some active guild events we can participate in!)
• friendly & active community
• limited or no cussing
• absolutely NO trolling, harassment, griefing, etc.
NOTE: this includes guild members aiming harassment at other players not in the guild!
• a fun time! ^^

We play on weeknights and weekends EST time, about 1-3 hours at a time depending on real life stuff of course.

My husband loves doing dungeons/raids and collecting gear. I am partial to jumping puzzles, map exploration, running around doing interesting events like Dry Top, etc.

So! Anyone?

Only had one offer so far, but wasn’t really what I was looking for….edited the top post to clarify. Any active guilds out there fit the above? :-)

I recently started playing a couple weeks ago and have several level 10-15 characters on Stormbluff Isle. I’m hoping to find a Christian and/or family-friendly guild with an active community. I don’t mind switching servers, but as I am a new player it may be some time before I can save up the required gold.

These are the kinds of things I’m looking for in a guild:
- active friendly community
- rules structure that ensures guild member conduct (ie, not allowed to trash people in the game just because it’s a game, etc)
- community of players that don’t harass other players in speech or action
- fun! ^^
- preferably no cussing, but it’s not a requirement since I have the profanity filter on high in-game

A few things about me, let’s see….I don’t particularly like PvP, but I love PvE. I’m fond of leveling, exploring, dungeons (though I have yet to try one in GW2), and especially holiday/special game events. I used to be a huge raider in WoW, and played for about 7 years (since before the first expansion). However, I’m more of a casual gamer now and prefer a laid-back but active community of friends. I usually play on weeknights (EST) and weekends.

Non-gaming stuff about me…I love watching anime and reading novels, I am also a writer and an artist. My husband is also a big gamer and used to play WoW with me. There’s a pretty good chance that he will eventually start playing GW2 as well.
