My biggest issue with the removal of the Greatest Fear storyline is that there is a “Hero” achievement that is no longer achievable, which is a huge annoyance if you’re like me and enjoy completing things like that.

Has ANet made ANY sort of statement about this, other than “we know it’s an issue but it would be really hard to fix”?

I am relieved to have found this thread and to learn that it wasn’t just me not paying attention during the Personal Story when I was interacting with NPCs that I didn’t remember meeting in the first place (Sayeh al’Rajihd, for one).

I feel so silly!! For some reason none of the friends I asked thought of that. Thank you!!

When viewing the map, various icons are missing and have been since I began the game. I didn’t even realize they were supposed to exist until a friend told me about them.
The icons for Merchant, Bank, Trading Post, Asura Gate, and possibly others have never shown up for me. Attached is a screenshot of Lion’s Arch, which should demonstrate what I mean. I am logged in on a Level 80 character.

My primary computer is a MacBook Pro but this persisted even when I logged in to a friend’s PC.

I also experienced this.
Even when targeting an enemy with less than 50% health, the lock did not disappear from the net skill.

I was able to work around this by putting the 5 skill (the net) on auto-attack. It did not always work reliably but it worked enough times to get the heart unlocked. The net would usually fire immediately after the use of another skill (1 or 3 most reliably).

When I am at a crafting table and rightclick “buy more at trading post” on an item, I am able to access the trading post and buy and sell normally, but speaking to a trader or using the trading post icon at the top of my screen both produce the image screencapped by Java.7391.

I also am having this issue but I could not get the capture mechanism to work either (the 5 action was greyed out and gave me the message “cannot use skills while transformed”). A friend who completed the heart confirmed with me that the pit training was not triggering properly as it has in the past.
