That warrior video made me lol. Swinging at the air, no weapon switch (ranged weapon). Overshooting skills and just terrible usage of abilities.
Sieging is quite boring at moment. I remember spending 30-40 minutes breaking down one gate. This is not a simulation, it’s a game that is made to be fun! Imo attacking the wall with weapons should do nothing, but siege weapons should be alot more effective then they currently are to encourage different styles of gameplay. I think if you have more focus on these siege weapons you will see different styles of gameplay happen more often such as people taking a small party around the back to take out the siege weapons or the defender trying to make a push out of the castle.
Anyone that complains about 100b is just bad at the game. Just learn how to play already.
I play sword/mace + rifle in pvp as you have a closer, a slow, a stun, vunerability. Shove frenzy on if you get lock them down and use F1 and they will have like 15 -20 bleed stacks.
Sword/Axe + longbow is my choice for pve.
Greatsword seemed alright but it lacks in utility, 100b is hit and miss in pvp as well.
That’s why position is actually important in Guild Wars 2. Most of the guardian’s absorption/reflection abilities are sphere or lines. Wall of Reflection is an actual wall about 10 times the width of your character; plenty of room to protect your party. .
Hard to do on an Australian ping where a dodge roll or skills are .5 of a second behind the server. This game probably has the worst lag, warping in any mmo i have played (Even in pve)
