Heya guys,
I’m fairly new to GW2 (been playing a few weeks) and I feel I’d like to try some of the living world, since the new one just dropped.
1) I’d like some info on the living world quests. Is there a certain level that you must be to play them (or play them well), or can you go in at any time and it levels with you?
2) Does it matter terribly if I jump in at the current story or should I REALLY pay gems and play the previous installments first?
3) If I do feel like paying gems to go back and play previous installments, is there a way to buy gems for other people (so I can unlock the story for my wife as well to play together.)
4) What exactly are the living world story installments like? Does it unlock new map areas (and if so, do they always stay open for you)? Are they just new areas with quests and instances to follow, is it something new? Are they able to be played solo, or do you need help?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Thank you very much.
Hey guys,
So, I have a few pieces of armor that are either soulbound to me, or bound to my account.
I know I can’t sell them to a merchant, and I know I can’t sell them to other players due to them being bound to me. I’ve tried to salvage them with with basic salvage kits to no avail.
My question is: is there anything I can do with them other than destroy them? It seems a waste. You’d think they’d at least let you salvage them.
Yes, but it will look like the same starting piece of armor too, won’kitten
Hey everyone!
I have a quick question about dyes. When I first made my character, I selected the various colors for his armor (as did we all!) All subsequent armors (save for a few pieces) have been the same colors I chose for my starting armor.
My question is: If I use a dye (with a transmutation stone of course) on say my chest piece and make it, say, red… will all of my subsequent chest armors be red in that spot from now on, or JUST the one I dyed?
Thanks for any info.
Good morning, guys.
I just started playing today and suddenly I have a drop-down list on the top right of my screen (where your active quests go) for my “monthly achievements”. When I click on it, all I can do is maximize/minimize the list, or click it to open my full monthly achievements menu.
I really want to get rid of this annoying thing taking up screen space on the top right of my screen. Can anyone out there offer advice?
