Different Connections in Cantha?

in Lore

Could it be possible that the people in Cantha bonded with the other races completely differently than in Tyria? It’d be pretty cool if the dredge somehow embraced the humans rather than becoming xenophobic after Cantha secluded itself, or if the quaggans were labeled hostile upon arriving to Cantha and attacked, so now their aggressive towards everybody. I just think it would be pretty funny, and a cool change of pace, thoughts? (or at least as a dredge lover let me dream)

There’s a picture of him in some cinematic. Can’t remember which exactly but i think it was in the one during your dream experience in the Pale Tree with Trahearne.

Relationship between Inquest and Primordus?

Spoiler Alert:

During my adventures in Sorrow’s Furnace I came across Tazza, the apprentice of Kudu. The mission was to help asura and ex-inquest thug Fergg eliminate the remaining inquest, so naturally this included Tazza as well. She was the final boss in the dungeon, and upon killing her she shouted “Destroyers Consume You!” This got me wondering why she would say such a powerful, almost cult like statement. It seemed as though she held the destroyers in high regard, and I doubt this quote was created specifically with her in mind seeing how she had no known relationship with the destroyers. Perhaps in future campaigns the Inquest will somehow be connected to the elder dragon Primordus? Just spitballing here of course, but why else would they program an inquest to say such a thing? Opinions?

Do jumping puzzles have any lore?

Some of the puzzles do, such as the Vizier’s tower which holds a bundle of lore within it, but others are simply there to challange the player with their jumping abilities such as Morgan’s Leap.

Replaying the personal storyline

I completely agree! One of my favorite parts of GW1 was walking through my life a second time, and I would love to have that option again. I also like the way Tarn mentions it by having it in your hero’s panel. Maybe I’m reaching here, but a HM (hard mode) version of the mission would be cool as well. One where everyone is eighty and it shows if you’ve completed it or not on your hero panel. Just an idea though, I personally think it would be cool and have been wanting this since I beat the campaign.

Nobility/Civilized-ness of Monster Races?

I don’t believe Count Zu Heltzer was giving an accurate account of how the dredge reacted. Of course he is going to blame the Dredge for the attacks on the patrols, why would he blame his own people? I can understand why the patrols would attack an unfamiliar creature in their territory, but I doubt that the Dredge were looking for a fight after digging to the other side of the world in order to flee from previous oppresses.
