Same story here. Banned more or less 24 hours ago whilst doing plinx with all the other 80s on my server. Just kicked from the game with a “dissconnected” message, then when I tried to log back in I’m greeted with a ban to the tune of “Botting, extended unattended play, using macros, or similar behavior.” Awesome.

Cool blanket bans, bro-net.

Edit: Also might be worth mentioning that my account appears to intermitantly connect to the game, as a guildie sees me online despite being banned.

see I’ve been wondering, because my password did not change, I doubt someone hacked me and botted on my account. This then means that perhaps my activities were being tracked or I was wrongfully reported. If arena was actually monitoring my activities, then they would know I was not botting. Then, I realized I was playing WvW all morning. I’m on server Maguuma, and well we kinda siege camped emhry bay. What if someone got really mad and acted out by reporting people, and arena didnt bother checking if we we’re actually botting or not 0.0?

banned 10th of november “botting”, logged off at about 3:00pm mst, tried to log at 10:00 pm mst, was banned, so no idea at exactly what time
