Well when you post something as stupid as this to QQ about, you should expect this kind of reaction. Honestly, no MMO reprint CDs to include updates unless they are selling an expansion and then they tend to include previous updates at that time. Seeing GWs has not sold an expansion…

As someone who really enjoys PvP content, I just am not that interested in sPvP. For me the issue is it seems to isolated from the rest of the game, it is almost like its a completely separate game all together. I understand why they did it but it just does really interest me due to the way it was setup.
Every other MMO with stealth has it doing just fine with such a change…So i dont see it being that much of a problem here, would stop them jumping into stealth every chance they get, would stop them from being easily able to run when they start to lose.
Failed logic because you are only comparing ONE aspect instead of the overall package. For example in WoW (were your suggested changes are in place) thieves have much stronger out of stealth defensive abilities and access to several stun effects. So you can’t just say it works fine and ignore that it works because of other aspects of the class that doesn’t exist here in GW.

Wait, didn’t you previously state that “because most people play warrior or guard” and yet you think that thieves are some huge balance issue?
The problem with making radical changes to stealth is simple. Anet intended the class to bounce in and out of stealth during an engagement. The class was designed to be played this way and making any large changes to stealth would require the class be re-tuned, otherwise it would be pointless to play.
Your thief changes are horrible, thankfully they will die in this thread…
perma stealth = perma useless.
I’m not talking about buffs nerfs but don’t you think its a little closed minded to state perma stealth is useless?
Not at all because it doesn’t help you take/hold a node, it doesn’t kill your enemy. Matter of fact all it does it HELP the other team because you may as well just stay in the starting area…
Well of course thieves are going to be strong in solo ganking situations, it offsets the fact they are nearly worthless in organized group PvP. So you can’t ask for one to be adjusted without adjusting the other.
Another day and another misinformed “nerf” thieves based upon complete BS…

It’s been a year and this quest still is bugged. I think you guys may need to look into this fix again…
