Thanks Puck, that was a great link. I did noticed, after looking at the history, that my server was 3rd almost every time. lol. It looks like it’s some round robin match up. what do you recommend? Those are a lot of numbers. What does it mean to “pug tag” I know pug is pick up group, but what do you mean by tag? so Anvil Rock is pretty solid?

Ok, I don’t have a full grasp of the tiers yet. It seems simple, but do all T1 play ONLY other T1 servers? Like I said, I think Isle of Janthir is like T7? but I also read that of the 3 servers in that tier, 2 of the 3 are getting wrecked by one server and the 2 that are losing refuse to group up. The main thing I am looking for is just active players that play WvW. Guilds that actually have players who want to group up and take down other players or keeps or w/e. Sorry if I sound so ignorant. I only did pvp and I wanted to try something else.

I played GW2 a while back. 100% spvp. I am not maxed out, just got burnt out from only pvping.
I just got back into the game. A lot has changed. I read on these forums that Isle of Janthir is not a very good WvW server. I noticed that this server is ranked almost near the bottom. Like tier 7 or something, as of June 17, 2015. I don’t understand how this all works, the rankings and all.
I am looking for an active server, realm, world, or whatever that has competitive WvW teams playing at prime time for my time zone.
I am not looking for OP, hand holding. I just want to find an active server/guild that is competitive and likes to do WvW and actually wins sometimes in their tier.
Like I said, I vaguely understand how this ranking, tier thing works.
Any advice, pointers, ideas, leads, clues? I would appreciate anything. thanks in advance.
