You can potentially get it from the /guild/*/log/ call in the API if the MOTD has been changed recently. Could write a script to read that API every now and again and store the latest MOTD somewhere such as a Discord channel topic.
Not aware of a ’get me the current MOTD’ call though.
There have been a number of threads about this specific issue already, I think the best approach discussed was a special permission added but I’m not sure of anything that happened beyond that.
Check the threads up until end of Dec for some of the discussions.
Yes, wrong forum.
Maybe try the ‘Guild Wars 2 Discussion’ forum
Thanks for looking into it. Yeah, not urgent or anything, just would be nice for the future.
Done. Note by ‘duplicates’ I mean the in-game guild log not the data returned by the API
In v2/guild/*/log for cloud donations you get:
{"id":2785959,“time”:“2016-04-02T11:10:10.401Z”,“type”:“upgrade”,upgrade_id,“action”:"queued"}
,{"id":2785954,“time”:“2016-04-02T11:10:08.401Z”,“type”:“upgrade”,upgrade_id,“action”:"queued"}
Would it be possible to have information on who donated in the [user] field? Same for some of the other donations with tokens from the decoration merchant.
The guild log has two entries for each, could it be easier to create a new “action”:“donated”?
Some potential issue with the ’are they online’ and ’are they repping us’ is when they log in and not auto play, or sit at the char screen, then I’ve noticed that can show them as online and repping just with a location of ’unknown’. So either we need their location too (I guess your map suggestion does that!) or some clearer definition of online.
Hi,
I recently got my necro out of storage and so sorted some decent inventory bags out for it. However now every time I open my inventory the bottom four bags are collapsed and the top four bags (plus shared) are expanded.
If I expand the bottom four using the arrow on the right side, close the reopen the inventory they are collapsed again. This only seems to happen on my necro, my other characters seem to be fine.
It might be costmetic but is fairly annoying putting me off playing the necro a little bit.
Any thoughts? Not yet found any other posts on these forums but I have spoken to one other person who said they knew someone else who had the same issue.
> Any chance we can get Last Login added to the members list?
Ideally also if they are repping the guild or not, so perhaps three states: Repping, NotRepping and Offline. If that isn’t possible maybe a Last Rep date on top of the last log in?
Hi,
Apologise for the resurrection but this seems like the most recent relevant post.
So I’ve been playing with the API and some of the more useful things for me, such as the members list, seem to be hidden behind a ‘guild leader only’ thing. How is that defined? Is that simply just the highest rank?
My guild rank is ‘Guild Leader’ and has all the permissions but it is the second highest rank. The guild’s founder, who comes online perhaps every 6 months or so to check all is well, retains the highest rank. This isn’t a problem and seems to works really well for a large guild and I generally see it much like the Queen in the UK… for the most part is ceremonial but does have the power to resolve things if one day is needed. Useful for context but I digress.
Anyway, is there some way to make it so it is dependant on a permission, maybe ideally a new one or if that isn’t possible something such as Edit Ranks or similar as for now I’m blocked from using useful APIs.
Edit: Nevermind, just seen all the discussions at https://github.com/arenanet/api-cdi/pull/7 so please ignore this. Have left it up in case anyone else has the same question.

Hi,
For AUNZ contacts to message check the list at http://oceanium.enjin.com/recruitment (please don’t submit an app unless you really really must, a real conversation is much better), or if you see an AUNZ guild member running around they can get a name for you to message of someone online to chat to.
I’m sure the same for Shatter Inc [TS] too, they’re a friendly and helpful guild.
