I tried it again today, and it worked. Previously, the second objective (searching for relics) would complete, but the “Pick up the scabbard” objective would not open, leaving me stuck, so I think there is still a little glitch somewhere.
The only thing I did differently today was make absolute sure that Sieran was behind me, and not off fighting some pirate (which I ignored at first). I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.
This is still bugged. Nothing happens after the scabbard is presumably picked up. I know it’s not an actual object, but that objective of the quest shows completed, and all I can do is walk aimlessly about with no guidance from Sieran.
