Guild Wars 2

They are crap right now….they need more work, both for survivability and damage, the melee damages are quite sad, the range damage output is unimpressive…they need to be competitive with other classes. Right now they are like a shinny new penny, looks nice, but not worth much…

1. Download the Gw2Setup.exe
2. Create a folder on your desktop named Guild Wars 2
3. Put the Gw2Setup.exe in the folder named Guild Wars 2
4. Rename the Gw2Setup.exe to Gw2..exe
5. Launch

Yes Gw2..exe I am aware of the 2 .
But this worked for me.

I am currently in game after a Reinstall so this worked others confirim please, at lest that you are getting a download.

I made a File on my desktop named it guild wars 2, put Gw2Setup.exe and renamed it to gw2.exe like someone said in a prior post and its working and installing

Right click Gw2.exe and create a shortcut. Right click the shortcut and select properties. Modify the shortcut’s target like this, using your own path:
Target: “C:\Example\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -StreamingClient

Click OK. Right click the shortcut and run it as an administrator. This should prevent getting stuck on a few files remaining.

I am having the same problem…

Had issues right after the new build….and haven’t been able to play since, uninstalled and now when I try to reinstall it sits at 0kb/0kbsec and stops responding….this is pure bulls$H1t

Have Been with vH for 3 weeks and I have found the guild for me. No longer do I feel like I am playing this game alone. They are helpful, informative and skillful. I am a returning player Looking for a guild. I played at release and played mostly PvP but will be looking to enjoy some PvE as well. I was a hardcore gamer but am looking for a Casual to hardcore guild that is helpful and informative. I am not looking for a handout nor am I expecting someone to play for me. I just want a guild that is interactive so i am not Playing alone. I am familiar with Ventrillo and Mumble as well as teamspeak. I play throughout the week at odd times because I work three 12 hour shifts a week at a hospital.
I am looking to get back into the game send me tell, mail, or simply respond here and we will see where it goes.
