Guild Wars 2

alright asked around, was told about exotics and stuff and just to wear rares for now. Sounds very confusing so will need to look for a guide or something lol

Hi all, im about 4 bubs from 80 on my guardian. I know you can buy gear with karma, i saved most of mine. I have about 80k. I would love to get a good weapon first, but what do you all reccomend? I know i can buy armor from certain vendors for gold that doesnt look bad so not really worried on armor. Looking for a good greatsword, a cool looking sword would be nice but obviously not focused on looks =) looking for the best starter gear i guess. Thanks =)

Seriously…stop focusing on seasonal events and fix the kitten story quest. How do you take 2+ weeks to fix the main part of your game?

Hey guys so as much as i know GW2, I dont know GW2. I have had game since about a week after launch but have been slowely but steadily leveling (had alot going on RL) but now i am good and am focused on hitting 80. I plan on doing both end game dungeons (i think thats the only form of pve end game) and whatever end game pvp there is.

Just wondering what traits I should go for and stats on my armor i should go for. I plan on using a greatsword and a sceptre/focus.

Currently i have zeal(power), valor(toughness), and honor(vitality) for leveling. But now that I am getting closer to 80 I just want to start getting my normal skills in and get used to them for leveling. Thank you all for the advice, im sure there are guides out there but with guild wars being so customizable with your character i wasnt sure if theyd have my exact one.

Also if you could tell me what skills I should use for my traits / what slot skills i should use that’d be a bonus. I will be mainly pvping so go with that. Once again thank you all, guild wars is amazing and I am ready to hit 80 and experience my favorite part of every MMO, end game.

still looking for an answer. at this point i will just send the laptop back to dell for repairs and tell them i keep freezing if i get no answers. Laptop is still under warranty

Hey guys so i have a problem. Once i got guild wars early september, i would play it and out of nowhere it freezes my laptop and it forces me to restart. It has been happening frequently. Sometimes it works for hours and doesnt freeze at all. Other times my laptop will freeze 4 times in an hour. I dont know why, because the FPS is great. I get about 45FPS with medium settings, over 60FPS on best performance. The other day, I was on WoW and my laptop did the same thing. Is this a hardware problem? Or software? Im hoping software. I attached my DxDiag. For people who dont want to read I have 8gigs of ram, Nvidia GT 540m Graphics card, and an Intel HD graphics card. I always have it set to the Nvidia though. Please help!

So i dont know, Im just having such a hard problem not being completely mind kittened by this games questing. I feel like im running over random places on the map looking for any hearts around my level to quest. I always end up a level or 2 behind my current story quest and those 1 or 2 levels make a difference so i usually like to get to the reccomended level.

Thing is, this game gives you no direction of how to level so im constantly grabbing my hair and ripping it out. Some people tell me i need to go to other areas to level..i dont know that just seems a little confusing having to travel all over the map just for 2 levels to do a story quest.

Is there like a leveling guide or some kitten? I love guild wars 2 but I havent played in at least 2 weeks because i am just sick of running around like a chicken without a head
