I realize this is an old thread, but I know that the release of such an option would be celebrated in the community.

The the name of the guild I created at launch with a few close friends no longer represents what we are about, with our return to the game. We don’t want to lose our minimal perks, but a new identity with our homecoming would be grand.

I saw that awesomium_process the other day when I was looking to see if there was something conflicting on my end, like Treeline suggested. I had no clue and assumed it was some sort of spyware. Anet should be more watchful of things like that x.o

Some of your reason does make since, but nobody in my guild at least has experienced that same issue, and I couldn’t get any bites on the subject in LA earlier today.

I’ll have to ask around more often.

I spent the past few days troubleshooting for an in game work around, and am sure that it does not matter what combination of sound settings is being used, the sound may suddenly begin and persist. Messing with this I was able to get a larger range of pitches that this obnoxiously loud sound made, but I am still unable to make it stop.

I expect to receive some sort of work around, or to hear that arena net is working on this problem that is on their end.

Hello. I was searching on google for someone else who was experiencing this, and I’m disappointed that this is all I could really find.

I have experienced this on a brand new gateway, an older emachine, and a HP laptop a couple years old.

I’d really love this to get some attention, seeing as I play with headphones and when this comes up it really hurts. The fact that I do closed captioning and like to chat on GW2 while working makes this especially annoying (I can’t do both unless I want to blow out my eardrums).

This happens when I have nothing but the bare essential processes running, no matter which of my 3 computers I use, so I can’t imagine that this is something on my end.

I can’t send a ticket in either because customer service is not allowed to help someone without some sort of fancy $800 cyberpower pc, at the minimum, and told me I shouldn’t have even purchased GW2 to begin with.

I’d really like anet to prove to me that they’re better than blizzard (not a hard feat) like I thought they were while anticipating this game for years.

A released game should not have errors like this, especially one that has physically hurt the player.

First of all, let me say that I can understand your frustration. We are working very hard to squash all of these edge case problems with the BLTC. Unfortunately, due to the nature of using an in-game web browser, the user’s firewall settings or anti-virus programs can indeed affect the performance or connectivity of the BLTC window. If you are experiencing an issue that not every other user is experiencing, it is usually necessary for us to have you support a Customer Support ticket so that we can get your system information and help you out.

We are certainly not blaming users, and we apologize if our words are being taken that way. We honestly want to do what we can to help you experience Guild Wars 2 in the way it was intended.

Again, apologies for any unintended meaning taken from our responses.

Hi guys,

These issues you’re reporting (TP not loading, buttons being grayed out) sound like it might be an issue with your browser settings. You may want to make sure you don’t have a firewall or a strict browser setting that could be interfering with the operation of the Trading Post. If you do find that altering a setting does help, please let us know!

I don’t see how this could possibly have anything to do with an error, in game, that is clearly on your end. So many people have been having the same issue, and yet, you do nothing about it.
New patches are great and all, but for some reason you can’t fix current problems in those patches? Even worse, you blame it on the players; I expected more from arena net.
I’m tired of seeing responses for every little issue, except for the large problem that the majority of people posting in this thread appear to have. The only one I saw, that I am quoting, is blaming users.

Really? Get it together.

Black Lion Trading, Grey Buy Buttons

I’ve seen old topics about this, but they all died without solutions, and the majority of people said it was never fixed for them.

I am encountering greyed out buy/place order buttons, a blank page when I attempt to sell anything, and it shows me having the amount of “. ..” gems (in the BLT, my bags show the proper amount).

I used to simply log out and back in to fix this issue, worked every time, no wait time as others had said was needed for them. This lasted for about a month I’d say.

Suddenly, last night, relogging no longer fixed this. This wouldn’t be so bad if we could actually trade with other players, and had some sort of trade chat across all main cities, but anet is restricting us to a broken system. This is highly frustrating.

I started having this problem maybe a month ago, but logging out and back in always fixed it.
I’m not sure about you all, but it also showed my gem amount as “. ..” whenever this would happen.

Last night the rather annoying relogging fix of mine ceased to work, and I ended up purchasing a wow subscription to fill my time. I sent in a ticket today, and I hope it gets fixed by staff soon.
