Guild Wars 2

Same thing is happening to me now, too. I’ve been having the disconnecting issues for a few days but now it’s gotten worse.

Now when I open GW2 I get to the character selection, then once I choose a character it either just greys out “play” in the bottom corner and freezes until it says it can’t connect, or it goes to a forever loading screen in which case after around 10 minutes it says it can’t connect.

Then once that’s all over with and I finally get GW2 off of my screen my internet will just no longer connect at all. Or it will for about a minute before going offline again. This will continue until I reset both my modem and my router. As of this round I have yet to try to log in, which is the only reason I’m capable of even posting this.

This is so far beyond frustrating me.

Just for anyone who is only skimming this thread and doesn’t feel like reading my paragraphs, this is what’s happening:

1. I open GW2. It goes to the character screen.
2. It crashes and says no internet connection.
3. My internet connection is lost if I look at my network connections.
4. I restart my computer, router, and modem and my internet connection is fine until I try again to open GW2.
5. Starts over from number 1.
6. I put my face in my palms and decide to post about it.
