Okay that’s scary that you can just sell the spirits at a vendor. I’m hoping I wasn’t dumb enough to do that, but I probably was.
Thank you for the tip about gw2efficiency.com, I didn’t know I could hook up my account. But alas, when I type in The Spirit of the Zap Experiment, it shows nothing.
I have checked Hobbs multiple times, but he doesn’t have anything to give me, sadly. I don’t really know what else would be missing though.
Thank you for everyone’s help! I sent in a ticket, so hopefully the Gods of Anet will smile upon me and forgive me this once for my dumb mistake. (Apologies about my reply, I don’t know how to efficiently reply to three posts with the quotes thingy)
Already checked that.
So…ummm…. I am crafting the precursor, Zap, in order to create Bolt. I just finished collection II with all of the weaponsmithing stuff, but when I got the recipe I clicked on it, and it says I don’t have the Spirit of the Zap Experiment. I have searched in each character’s inventory and through my bank multiple times. Does anyone have an idea as to where it might be, such as another bank, or some place I can get a replacement? It really kinda sucks since I spent so much time farming for the 700 or so gold to make/buy I think like 100 Deldrimor Ingots to get to this point. I would have to make another 30 Deldrimor Ingots and 10 Elonian Squares just to recreate the “Zap Experiment”, which is not a pain I want to go through.
Note: I know I have not deleted any characters in the time of making this.

@Osicat,
I have loved your builds ever since I started Guild Wars 2, but have started losing interest due to the amount of PU builds, and I just crafted a really cool new focus but none of your builds use one anymore. I have a few questions:
1. What caused you to bring down Heavy 4.0?
2. Could I switch out the torch for a focus?
3. Is focus losing power?
Thanks Osi!
Hi everyone reading this post! I am a level 80 North America Jade Quarry Mesmer (That’s my main character). His name is Elron Symphi. I have a measly 2,000 achievement points and have almost no money at all (2g, 16g is my record). Here is the list of what I am looking for in this guild.
1. No cray-cray in the hay-hay people wishing me to devote my entire life to playing with the guild (Even though I do spend a decent amount of time on GW2).
2. WvW. I love it, but am also awful at it. My inspiration was Osicat and his builds. I am trying REALLY hard to get better. I was told to do PvP to help with my 1v1 and 1v2 skills (Which I hate too but am persistent).
3. Fractals. I need it primarily because I am craving ascended accessories and weapons ( Some moola too).
4. Fairly active. I know I said no devoting my life, but I want to have at least a few other people on.
5. Friendliness. I like talking. A lot. And I seem to ramble significantly more in this game. I prefer nice people who like to chat too.
6. PvE. I like getting the achievements too because I only have those 2,000 points compared to some (I don’t know if I just have a life or if I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing).
I’m sure that was a lot to take in and I’m sure I probably won’t find a guild who wants a nooby mesmer like me, but I’m hopeful! In case this helps I’ll give some of my likes and dislikes.
<3 Anime (ALL except bloody) <3 food <3 Geeky things <3 People <3 Laughter <3 My Friends <3 Music (pop, Nightcore, Vocaloid, Indie Rock) </3 Meanies and poor sports </3 Sad stuff </3 Asparagus </3 All rock.
I hope that helps! Peace out and have a good day

I have two questions Osicat.
1. Which build of yours do you use?
2. On almost all of the gear/skill/stat website thingys you have a back item that is bought with laurels. When I look at the laurel vendor, he doesn’t sell back items.

I haven’t tried these other ways (they sound fairly good). The easiest is to just do those hearts. FILL THOSE HEARTS GOOD!
I get it now! Thanks Mercury!
OH THANKS! I didn’t realize that it was on there. Silly me (I’m even a part of the whispers and have looked at it quite often)! I’m thinking of making a thief character but I don’t want to go through the whispers story line again. Can you tell me about this “trick?”

This had been driving me crazy for quite a while now so I decided to bring it to the forums. On the male profession selection screen for Sylvari, the engineer has some really cool armor that has two Frisbee-like discs. I was wondering what it was called and how I could get it. Thanks!
