I think the point is casual games are finding it hard to make any ‘ground’ in the game in 30min. I know I feel I don’t achieve anything of note in the 30mins I have spare to play this game.
Maybe its no longer compatible with casual gamers with limited time?
I find the MMO map areas to be empty of team mates & peppered with respawning monsters. This imho is what breaks the immersion for me. I expect monsters to stay dead and not respawn 2 mins later.
I don’t think Areanet realised what a great UNIQUE system that it had with GW1.
As for all the tokens the idea smacks of real life WAY too much (work=tokens=spend on consumable=work, & REPEAT). By being so complex its lost its entertainment for me.
I would like to see instances again as per GW1.
I thought I would try to give my feedback here. (previous post i made was in a thread that was old [didn’t notice the age tbh] wshich got me a warning!)
I want to like GW2 but its PvE is a grind for the simple reason that the monsters respawn so quickly it makes it seem pointless to do any of the tasks of fighting them for them to magically teleport back in mere minutes
That just leaves you with the crafting & traditional grinding outlets..
So yeah I feel very BLeh playing GW2.
